If you're doing the Deluxe, check into going to Costco-- the pass costs the same, but when you activate it at the park, you get a $50 gift card to use in the park on whatever, so the pass itself works out to $219 instead of $269..
I did get the Deluxe and already purchased it online. Costco wouldn't help much because I would still need to sign up. Now, if I was already a member,that would be a different story.

I know I just severely necroed this thread, but I might be going to DLR again this coming February in 2010 before my AP expires so this thread seemed appropriate. I didn't want to start a brand new thread because I have no idea if this trip will actually happen so this is more of a heads up.

Also, I wanted to ask a kind of weird question that I also felt didn't need a new thread. So, I know that the policy is that no adult guests can wear costumes in the parks, but would there be an issue if a guest wanted to visit the parks and they wear a tail? I mean like wearing standard touristy attire, t-shirt and jeans, and a tail attached to the jeans. Like I said, I know it's a weird question, but I am genuinely curious about this.
