SG's alway used to ask me to give them my guest control flashlight. I wanted to give it to them, but not the way they wanted!

In Snoopy's Headquaters in Knott's Berry Farm, the clerks all wear silk vests with Snoopy on them. The clerks get a lot of questions from guests wanting to purchase the vests. They can't of course-the current version of the vest is custom-made.
However years ago, there was a licensee who made silk vests and those were the vests the clerks used as part of their costume. We sold the vests too,but they didn't sell well -even when they were marked down. Of course once they were gone, then everyone wanted them. Isn't that how it always works?

Welcome to the fun home of SGT. I mentioned it to my work and they are now checking out this wonderful place.

Why is it when there is a display on a food cart such as on a turkey cart, that if the cast member runds out of that food item... Why does the SG demand that they want that gross stale display? How long has that food item been sitting in that warmer? It looks good, but it might taste bad.

And I would guess they would need to seek a restroom quickly, if they consumed the display!

hmmm...

Hmmmm, this all brought back a repressed memory back from the early days of pin trading (yes, I used to be into it...NOT crazy tho'...before it got much too out of control). Early on, the lanyards guests could buy had a different "card" hanging from the bottom than the CM ones, and of course having a cast card was a high mark of status. So one day Mr. Syndrome and I saw a trading CM who asked me, "See anything you want," and I said (kidding around) "Just that," pointing to the card. He took it off and gave it to me! I was very surprised, but extremely grateful and wore that stupid thing with pride. I hope he realized I was kidding and didn't think I was a rapid pin-trading SG who was going to whip out a pistol or some mace if he didn't hand it over.

You should have handed it over with the parting comment "I used to be a proctoligist".

This morning I got a text message from my friend who was selling popcorn at Disneyland. She mentioned that SG are now stealing drinks off the fake ice display. That is not good. I went to WDW and all the displays were behind glass. That is smart for WDW, I wonder if Disneyland and DCA would be doing that in the future?

Oh, that reminds me of when I did merchandise and SGs wanted to take clothes off the mannequins if we didn't have the size they were looking for. At least they asked us permission before trying to strip our displays!

I think that Disneyland should have a special display that has a heavy cable attached to the bottom of the drinks. No one would be able to steal any more. If they got info on how to keep items behind the counter in glass, that would be great, but I seriously don't see any of that yet.

I am suprised that they don't have the fake plastic displays. I remember in Japan, you could "browse" what you wanted to eat by looking in the window at the various dishes.

not to mention that it would last a heck of a lot longer!!

hehehehehe
