Right now all they have is his offer for a service much like that of a travel agent. How he gets the fastpasses is the question. It would be like me offering a guided tour of DLR. Legally no laws are broken until I fail to provide the service. The contract would be between me and my customers. Disney would not be in the lawsuit for failure to provide service.

Disney can get involved if rules are broken. How he plans to get 24 FP per park is the question. Can he gift his FP just like grandmother who gives her grandchildren her FP? He does use the loophole of being able to used an expired FP but do CMs really always honour them?

Limited to one park of choice so that makes it even easier to choose a park but still there are as many as 8 attractions there.

Nice thing about a Fastpass is that they have a lot of information on them. Disney Legal goes and gets the "service", takes the FastPasses, scans them and gets the info as to how he got them.

If I had to guess, employee (not Cast Member) plus Override button equals lots of Fastpasses. And if that is what it is, then that employee needs to be put in a barrel of water and shot.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

If it was for one attraction that would be plausible. How many CMs have access to every machine in one let alone all parks. He could though give them expired FP if that works. He could use an ECV for speed and go from ride to ride with AP from him and 3 family members to get a set then ride some rides then another FP. He is implying that that is what he is doing.

Disney needs to redo the FP so that is says they will not be honoured on another date then wap CMs who allow a lot of them to get by. Barcoding them would be a cinch, something needs to be done to stop the people who can use the AP to get tons of fast passes for friends and resell even if illegal.

My guess would be that he has obtained a number of the Fastpasses from all the attractions that include various numbers/dates. With the aid of a scanner and any one of several graphic manulipation programs, has figured out a way of making some very real looking fakes.

I have see a similar set-up were a few enterprising fellows were making Drivers licenses for various states. (the all paid the price)

getting the right paper stock would be difficult, but not impossible.

plus the fact that he has a "disclaimer" that they may not work might be an indication.

I didn't see a disclaimer. Instead he actually says:

"These tickets are guarenteed to work because they are printed by Disney!"

"If you are a dee, please don't marry a dee, 'cause then your kids will be dee dee dee." ....Carlos Mencia

"It's the difference between champagne and carbonated pee!" ....Homer Simpson

Wow, that's amazing that people would be willing to spend that much money and something that they can get in the parks when they enter!

That is so a waste of money to anyone to buys that.

Where there's a will (profit motive), there's a way (scam).

Disney could solve the problem in two ways.

First, manage the FP system strictly the way it was designed. Check dates AND TIMES and do not allow usage before or after the window on the pass. It's not honoring the end time that is causing this problem.

Second, just get rid of FP completely. It is not necessary and is beneficial to only a few guests, not the majority. It causes anger in lines and more than it's share of dishonest scams. In the long haul it really is more detrimental than beneficial.

It was a good idea on paper, but has been a nightmare ever since it's beginning. The people factor was not considered.

People have been caught printing fake money, even the so-called "counterfeit-proof" ones, and getting the paper that money is printed on and the inks that are used in printing isn't easy. These could be very high-quality fakes anyway--there have been high-quality counterfeit bills, which is why they now use special pens to detect them.

Is there any way someone could break into the fastpass machines and take the unused fastpasses? I know in NYC they have or had a problem with people sucking subway tickets out of the deposit slots and reusing them. I think they may have fixed it so they don't have that problem anymore. I think EBay should post a warning that only tickets, fastpasses, etc. that are for decorative/sentimental or historic use will be sold; if it can be used, it won't be allowed to be offered for sale. Like the old A-B-C-D-E tickets they used in the 60s, for example.

Disney Legal may not appear to be responding because they are still investigating--remember, just because the cops and detectives on T.V. can solve a crime in half an hour or an hour doesn't mean real detectives can do the same. If they broadcast that they're investigating, the person(s) responsible will destroy any evidence.

That's my thought. This guy knows where the override is at and presses it when the CM is distracted (probably has someone to distract the CM too).
