You start acting up, this store's gonna be havin' a special on corpses."
The problem with that is most Wal-Mart customers are packing superior firepower and aren't afraid to use it.

My mom is one of those people. Not killing employees, (as far as I know) but she gets up at freakin' 4am to get to certain stores on Black Friday.
I'm all for bargains, but damn. Nothing and I mean nothing is getting me out of bed at 4am to go shopping.
Besides, this year I was off and we had our Thanksgiving dinner on Friday. So there you go.
But that poor employee's family! Just because some jackasses wanted stuff and the "MINE MINE MINE" gene took over. Ridiculous.
My question is: How many more folks have to get hurt or killed before they stop Black Friday all together? I guess the economy beats out safety.

You do know why they call it Black Friday, don't you? It's because it is the day that brings a large number of companies into the black on their finances.

Right, but it shouldn't outweigh lives for a measly bit of savings.

Let's pray that Wal-Fart uses better security and judgment next year.

I HATE WAL-MART AND I REFUSE TO SHOP THERE.

What I have learned if you go to Target, check out through the flower department. The lines are shorter and you don't have to hear the SG shoppers whine about the cashiers.
About Black Friday, I feel sorry for the guy who was trampled and later died. I think stores should have remote controls that open the doors at a safe distance.

Nothing. we do that for over 90 percent of our gifts. the rest (food baskets, etc.) we Go to Trader Joes and get all the goodies (about three blocks away!)
and make our own gift baskets!
