Wow, Syndrome, that meal sounds fabulous. Makes me consider trying to get my own book deal.

And I can just see a collaborative effort among many of the regulars:
"So You Want To Be A Disney Cast Member...
...No, You Don't. Really."

Actually, the book we're working on now has the working title "What Time is the Three O'Clock Parade? Guest Questions and the Answers We'd Really Like to Let Them Have".
Which reminds me, I haven't heard from the associate editors lately....

Oh boy, now that's a book I can't wait to read! Will it be Disney-only, or are other theme parks allowed too? Of course for Knott's, it would be more like Dumb Guests' Doings, where theme park employees relate some of the stupidest things they've seen guests do and say; special sections on Managers and Shift Leaders From Hell, and Co-Workers Who Shouldn't Be Working At Theme Parks. I have experiences from each category.

Yippee skippee, the book is getting more real now. Here is the preliminary cover design:

It may change, but they have to have something to put into the catalog that goes out to bookstores for pre-orders.
If you want to see the full outline of what was making me curse through all of Nov. and Dec., I posted it at

I can't wait till I hold the real thing in my hot little hands (well, really, what I can't wait for is the first royalty check...hopefully enough for a return to V & A!).

Wow, that's cool, Syndrome! Hey, between the newspaper gig and this book, you're getting to be quite the published author -- and we'll be able to say we knew you when.
Let us know when you want us to put in a good word with the Pulitzer committee!
