I really like the AP end of the stick. FREE DINNER!!! (And for Grumpy, it would be free RUM!)

Hi, first time poster here.
I hate to rain on your parade, but the "Birthday Fun Card" available for APs is for "merchandise items" only. So, unfortunately, the card can't be used for food and beverage purchases. Sorry. :(

In 2009, free admission to Disneyland on your bday

Post by Pinkisweet » Thu Sep 18, 2008 11:02 pm

Has any of you heard this? I personally think it's a good way to bring people, BUT, I'm sure there's going to be tons who will try to abuse it.

Overall, Disney will make more money nonetheless.

Any thoughts?

Indeed, I also think that this is a good way to bring people in,

Of course, there are things that people need to know;

You need to go online and register your birthday ahead of time, and you need to bring proof of birth date when your day finally comes.

So, I imagine that it would be kind of hard to abuse with all the rules for it....Of course, rules also mean SGs, but that's another story. ;)

For anyone who wants it, here is a page where you can get more information and FAQ about it;

I remember when growing up, Dennys would have free meals on our birthdays. Then they stopped it. :(

It could have stopped because of my Mom.... :rolleyes:
She and best friend had same birthday but different years.
So she and friend would go to lunch and dinner together on that day.
No profit for Denny's. ;)
