Well said.
Dcorey, what a rush. I almost didn't click on it cause I was scared something else would jump out at me like last time.

Ahhhh, a Compaq. Hopefully HP has improved their QA. Linux shouldn't be an issue if the drive is partitioned and doesn't try to boot both OSs.
The last company I worked for used DEC Alpha processors. DEC was purchased by Compaq a number of years ago. About nine years ago we were going to release a new series of systems based on the latest Alpha CPU. The product kept getting delayed until engineering said they couldn't get a decent Alpha. The CPU generated so many errors it was slower than the last generation CPU.
Engineering finally threw in the towel and went with Intel. It turned out to be an excellent decision as HP discontinued the Alpha.

My first choice was a panasonic tough book( used them at work) because of the lightweight, and can take a drop. But it was just for e-mail and watching dvd's and vacation stuff, so I opted for a lightweight. its not bad, but I wouldn't want to have to use it for a long time or every day!!
hehehehe

I was at the park yesterday. It had been slow lately. For some reason it was so crowded. I guess allot of company picnics. All the major rides had lines of 30 minutes or more.
Why is it when you go pass a food cart that serves hot food that some SG wants ice cream? Seriously, frozen bananas can not be served on a popcorn cart, churros or a turkey cart.
Now to deal with the stupid sidewalk hogs, etc. I wonder aimlessly with my family members and make the SG move around. If I had a chance with a stroller with my niece, I would try to run into those with the heelies.
Or our favorite thing to see when driving to MCO, there was this lake with a few simulated water ski pulls and skiers behind them. My sister and I watched this skier face plant his body in the water. Then he was dragged up the ramp and face down into the water below. It was fun intertainment.
