Off topic in 5 posts...Is that a record or something around here? hehehe

I would like to see a thread go off topic in the first post. Anyone wanna try to start a thread like that! Oh yeah, the ADD thread is that right? ;)

But what I really want to see is a thread about something specifically Disney that goes off topic in the first post....that would be a record!!!!!

Oh! We are so good at not staying on topic...I would think I was at the wrong site if I saw a thread that stayed on topic here! :hysteria:

Hey did ya see that? A birdie just flew by the window..ooh look a kitty!

Oh yeah, the grafitti thing really does suck. I have never seen grafitti at Disney, maybe the custodial dept. is good at getting to it fast in some places. That just blows that reality always has to seep into the magic place. I want to go to Disney to get away from that shit. If I saw some punk writing on a wall at Disney, I would definitely report it and maybe even box the little suckers ears! Security would be waiting for anyone I saw defacing Disney property. Keep it at home you juvenile delinquents! Not in my Park!

I have told you about a game site I belong to as well as others. I regularly see 8 to 18 year olds cussing and doing bad things. On kid gave my friend her phone number and it was in her area so she called it. Dad was very perplexed about how a stranger could be calling him, that his 10 year old was giving out their number, that the 10 year old was date hunting, and on a website he never heard of.

Where does the grafitti come from? The same place as the people who litter, break things, steal and cuss in public. They are the same people push, shove, park in the middle of a row, hog seats, and ruin other people's day. Where do most vandals come from? working class and middle class homes.

It is shocking to see a cute 12 year old riding a horse and in her bedroom with cute dollies and frilly curtains. That cute little innocent girl is the one who cusses online, date hunts, is a sexy momma, a hot chick, wild thang, and looking for a good time. It is them average kids from average homes who go to WDW and who are defacing property. Not all teens are happy with a WDW trip, check out youtube for proof of someof the stunts they pull.

I grew up as a Red Wings fan. It's always been Yzerman to me.

Although, I did see one version that was a bit longer, and equally amusing

"Jesus Saves, Ciccarelli slashes him, sucker punches him, shoves him out of the way, and puts the puck in the net for a goal!"

EXCUSE ME?!?!?!?!?!? How dare you say such a thing. The amount of money the family makes or what "class" they fall into has nothing to do with the so-called-parents lack of discipline. I would say we fall into the low class as far as money goes, however my 15 month old son has more respect and manners then 95% of adults. He is already saying please and thank you and excuse me. he does not throw a temper tantrum when he don't get his way. I think you need to take a step back and re think your comments next time. You are placing rudeness and disrespect in the wrong box. It falls under parents doing their job, not blaming the rest of the world for their brats growing up to be the little A-holes they are.

I think that the kids (and adults) that write on the walls are simply displaying their lack of respect for other peoples property. I don't believe it has ANYTHING to do with income. It has EVERYTHING to do with upbringing.

These are the same people that only believe that what THEY want matters, what THEY say matters, or what THEY do matters. (Hmm does that sound like an SG??)

The rules are for everyone else EXCEPT them, and when they get caught doing something wrong, its not THEIR fault, its yours for catching them!!

Well, I think Kids running rampant is a problem in every demographic, and I can think of at least one glaring example in our current Presidential race.
Before anyone accuses me of being pro or anti whichever party, I think this is a horrible situation. PERIOD. I think that the kids think that they are sophisticated and grown up at an early age, because the parents don't threaten their little lives starting when they screw up at age 2 and 3. Now, this does not make the parents a good or bad politician, but I think that our society is going to hell in a handbasket!

theres a city here in N cal thats billin gthe parents for tagging. One kids parents got a $40,000 bill for his handywork. thats what needs to be done everywhere, catch the taggers, make them pay for the cleanup plus a fine and give them community service cleaning up graffiti for a couple of years worth of weekends.

You don't think that shows like Gossip Girl and others of it's ilk make teenage sex so cool that kids IGNORE thier parents warnings and advice? And don't schools tell us that kids are going to do it anyway which is why condoms are available from the school nurse? And how do you know that said teenager wasn't using birth control taught them in school and it failed? Don't think you can ALWAYS blame the parents.

Not the parent's sole fault, but the fact that kids are given LOTS of freedom and pretty much learn from those around them (and the media) that it is OK to take those kinds of risks! If the parents start at an early age putting some fear into their hearts that ANY type of wrong behavior will not be tolerated, I think it would cut down on these incidents. But hey, If Jamie Lynn Spears can have her baby and be well supported with no "problems", they think they can, too. I think that kids lately THINK they know everything, but simply lack the maturity and experience to protect themselves. There is a statistic out there that says 1 in 4 high-schoolers out there has contracted a STD! WOW!
I've assisted in the care of quite a few of those myself in my clinic. I DO think there is a Birth control failure rate, but a large portion of that is probably INCONSISTENCY. What 14 year old (or 16 or 18) out there can be trusted to use birth control correctly every time?
