bmn wrote:I think the main problem is that many people feel more awkward interacting with face characters. We often see photos of children (and even adults) hugging fur characters, but pictures of guests hugging face characters are much less common. (In this picture, it's a bit obvious that he isn't too sure about putting his arms around Aurora's waist, LOL. :p :)

I haven't been to any Disney park in over a decade, but I'm sure the following would make great ideas for character interaction:

1. Do the Caramelldansen with them (the Numa Numa dance is also a good choice)
2. Ask a princess (or prince, if you're a lady) to dance a waltz with you
3. Take a picture of Belle holding a textbook for an advanced subject, preferably something with the word "engineering" in it :p:
4. Sing a song with them (preferably one from their movie)

Of course, many of these take a lot of guts to pull off. :p:
wow, is that the sword in the stone merlin dancing? that is rare.

One of my favorite character memories at DL was when I was five. I,along with some other children played Duck,Duck,Goose with Snow White and some of the dwarfs. It was a lot of fun and it's too bad kids today don't get that kind of opportunity anymore.
