Exactly! That's all I can see them doing unless they give them some sort of way to verify a guest is staying on property.Canuikstan wrote:They can direct the guests to GR :)
I work at a front desk, and there's no way to generate an "extra" room key. If I made one, it would invalidate the previous KTTW issued to that guest.vixen101485 wrote:I had heard (not sure is why I am asking) that when you check in you can ask for an extra "blank" card with just your dates on it and not your room key, etc encoded to it. Anybody know?
I was reading about tipping and room charges and so forth on (board x) and someone suggested that you can get a 'spare" room key when you check in that dosn't have room charging ability attached to it. Would this be what they are talking about?Zazu wrote:I work at a front desk, and there's no way to generate an "extra" room key. So no, you gotta use the real thing.
I don't know *what* they're talking about, and I suspect they don't either. It's one KTTW card per registered guest, period.GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:I was reading about tipping and room charges and so forth on (board x) and someone suggested that you can get a 'spare" room key when you check in that dosn't have room charging ability attached to it. well, YA GOTTA let us know here!! Not many comments from the CM's about this change, but I think it seems like they are all in a "wait and see" mode!Rob562 wrote:Yeah, I arrive this Saturday for a week, so I'll be right in the thick of things with this new way of doing EMH...
We'll probably be going to MK Evening EMH that first day under the new system, too. I'm sure it'll go SOOO smoothly!

EHH! was worth a shot. I could get the 1st one and conviently lose it within a few minutes. so I need a replacement and use the first one as the park one...LOL. ;)Zazu wrote:I work at a front desk, and there's no way to generate an "extra" room key.
