Well put BW.

I'm not upset either. just mystified that he would bother to do something that most of us already know.

He is probably the same person that will use a flash on a dark ride to be able to "capture" the behind the scene magic. Sort of a "let me ruin the magic for everyone" type of person.

thats the type of person that I would love to see the Disney lawyers slap a suit on for copyright infringment or some such.

To my knowledge, I can not see into Mickey's eyes. I think this person must had a flash on while recording. I thought Mickey's head was solid and the character person wore a black face mask on below the head? :)

People post what some would consider distasteful vids on youtube all the time, you can either accept them or not. There are millions of vids there that will offend SOMEONE, somewhere. I don't find a problem with the video, if that is how the maker wants to have fun, whatever. It is an interesting viewpoint from an intellectual side, but it would hit the gut emotionally for many, I would guess.

There's quite the percentage of Youtube / Disney Park
videos that seem just a little whack.

Notice the one with Alice & The Mad Hatter posted as
"Alice Falls Down". I mean, here they are in those
heavy costumes in the 90 degree heat, busting their
asses (no pun intended) to make sure the kids have a
good time, and Alice takes a spill. She's obviously in
pain but still stays in character. My guess is a nasty
tailbone bruise, but who knows?

The whackjob behind the camera thinks this is funny
and so much so, that he / she uploads it to YT.

That's just heinous.

Yep, I watch youtube everyday. There are so many nasty, distasteful vids there. I have clicked on some thinking it was something else at times. The makers of these bad vids have a nasty habit of calling their vids by something innocuous and you think it is something else. I am more careful now before watching some of the trash there, but even in my genre of watching, there are evil people who post sucky vids. It is a risk you take when you click on a link to a vid there.

That said, there are also some really great Disney vids and lots of great old musical clips. So I cannot resist going over and hearing Fred sing They Can't Take That Away From Me" or "Just The Way You Look Tonight" Gets to me everytime...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... :love2:  :lovestruc :love2:  :lovestruc

You ain't just whistling Dixie!

The Internet in general can be a very venomous, cold place.

When it comes to most message boards dealing with the Disney parks that I've seen, if someone is tries to be positive, look on the bright side, or try to be cautiously optimistic, they'll get their head bitten clear off.

Unfortunately, I'm also speaking from experience.

But oh well, the Internet can be good or bad, depending on where you go.

Now, I do look with some disdain on what this person did with their equipment, but for different reasons than Sarah Magdaline.

First of all, the reason he made this video was disrespectful. True, he is not showing anything that anyone didn't know, and true, maybe putting a person's face on the characters might make a single person change their mind about assaulting a character, but I think by and large the <insert derogatory word for people here> who would punch Mickey or Donald or kick Goofy or whatever do it because they do know there's a person inside who will bleed if hit enough, and they do it out of a morbid disrespect for the characters, Cast and Disney. There's my $ .02.
I also agree with Wallaby! I don't think that a video proving that there is a REAL PERSON in a costume will stop anyone who is willing to harm a character.

I don't really see the big deal. It's sort of interesting. I don't think it's trying to kill the magic or "show" that there's a person in here, I think it's more, "Hey, isn't this a neat effect?"
