i can agree, i am a cashier at wallyworld. unfortunately when there are those unruly people (and there are A LOT), nothing seems to get done, so don't waste your time. unless you can get a security person involved right away, it's pointless.
i can go on and on about the unlimited supply of stupid people who check out on my line. and as for the wonderful parks in florida, i know that the idiots who are SG also are many of the same idiots who shop where i work.
BTW, thank you to all the employees at all the florida parks for making my families experience there memorable.

SG's at the airport!
Oh my god, if you need to do a thesis on SG's, the airport is one place to find them.

1. Security. We all know the 3-1-1 rule by now. Most of us do any ways. We knowthere are execptions, and if we believe we fall under the exceptions, we should double check the TSA website. Right? Wrong.
SG #1. is getting $20 in sealed and unsealed babyfood confinscated at the check point. Worse, she already pre mix formula with bottled water. Stupid move. Since she had about 40 oz of milk mixed, that got tossed and she was left with 3. She had no dry powder left, since she used it all.
I know it sucks for her, but wouldn't you check these things to take percautions. Especially with a baby.
Oh, she was also livid she had to remove the baby's jacket and snow boots. It was like 40 outside.

2. Preboarding
Not everyone needs assistance with preboarding!!!!!
Why would you want to sit in your seat for 30mins as people squeeze by you, knock you in the head with their oversized crap, and you have to look at asses and crotches for half and hour.
Now preoard has been changed to parents with children 2 and under and people who need extra time to board.
Still many parents with 15 and 17 year olds still preboard. What the fuck.

Fly American, they don't give a crap if you have kids and need to preboard. They are completely fine with you holding up the line while you strap down your car seat. Yep, pre-boarding for people who need assistance, which means wheel chairs.

I made AA Gold, so I can board with group 1 so it's not a big deal when we fly, plus our bags have a place in the overhead bins! I also tend to take the window so no one is hitting me. I also usually pull out my ipod and get it ready for the flight or if traveling with my girls I entertain them.

No need to cuss like that over people using guest rights offered by the airlines. :spank:

Being first on board means you get to put your luggage in the bin first. I have seen them people coming onboard last and playing musical bin trying to find a bin to fit their stuff and I mean even the tiny stuff not them hulking suitcases. I board first because I am disabled and need help sometimes with putting stuff up and getting to my seat. I have never minded watching people go by and never checked out the farts or anatomy of anyone passing except for that cute guy or that lady with that weird hairdo.

15 and 17 year old are minors and I can see why the airline would want to make sure the kids are onboard first. Also do you know if them teens are not aspies? Maybe the parents are boarding first because the kids have hidden disabilities like cancer and heart disease. Early boarding is for one person in the group so the rest can be healthy and preboard. Maybe them teens were with their disabled mom who had to preboard.

Best SG trick was the lady who took her 3 year old on the plane and let it kick and wiggle and poke and scream the whole trip. :morons:

For other reasons, I have mostly flown on American Airlines since 9/11.

Never had any problems!

Back in the day I liked the airline that seated babies in the smoking section. Less oxygen meant less screaming.

When I went to Disney in December, I flew Delta. on my fights they were only pre-boarding those needing assistance, and had to explain to several families that they were not pre-boarding families with kids anymore... just the disabled. dunno if it was just those flights or the whole airline.

On my flight to TN over New Year's, I noticed that boarding is much slower now that AA is charging $15 to check the first bag. Everybody wants to use the overhead bins now for heavy stuff, and that really holds up the line.
