OMG! I feel so sorry for you cast members. You are right, I hope they are not allowed to come back to the parks. I heard yesterday that Disneyland's Big Thunder Railroad had 3 E-stops due to the groups were tempting to stand up. I heard the announcements please remain seated at all times. I also heard if you stand up we are stopping the attraction. If wonder if they will ever listen? Wait, they got kicked off of EE, I see them doing it here. I wonder if the holding cell under the House of Blues at Down Town Disney could handle a few groups? :twisted:

P1 is the first power setting, which on level beam propels the train to 15 miles per hour. The VOBC is the computer system that makes it so that P1 is equal to 15 mph, P2 is 20 and so on. On the Mark IV's, P1 was a power level, not a speed. They could routinely get the Mark IV's up to very high rates of speed, and the speed limits were not really enforced, from what I understand. Also, with our current block system (think: New York Subway, Amtrak, etc) the trains cannot get too close to each other. At one point, it was standard operating procedure to override the safety system and hold at a station one train length out.

This is all stuff I've heard. Your mileage may vary.
