I dont think they stop anyone from viewing it. DW and I were watching from the Poly Beach, and some other people with their kids left after it was over, the kids wanting to run over to the contemporary to see it again, and the parents saying that were going back to their hotel!

Not at all... I've watched fireworks from the Poly beach twice -- only once while actually staying there -- and no one is checking i.d.'s or asking questions. Go and enjoy.

The Poly Beach is the best place to see it all, the Electrical Pageant and Wishes. Great view from there. You can park there at the Poly (I don't know what the parking fee is) or park at the TTC and take the monorail over there.
That is the greatest location to watch from! Lots and lots of folks go thewre to watch.

If you're into this sort of thing, I'd highly recommend going up to the Cali Grill at the top of the Toaster and enjoying the view from there (they play the music with Wishes! inside the restaurant, but not the music with the water parade_. I believe this is something I will do every time I go in the future. Too cool to be missed. And the opportunity to have some nice desert or appetizers (the food is fantastic!) and a tasty beverage or two makes it all the better -- alcohol optional, but remember to save some rum for Grumpy Pirate! (Also, the contemporary is just a quick monorail ride from MK) You don't need a reservation to go sit in the lounge where the chairs are much more comfortable than the restaurant anyway, and you can order anything from the restaurants menu in the lounge too! But remember to show up early: the only down side is that lots of other people have figured out this trick too...

I like to go take in the free movie at Ft. Wilderness, then walk over to the beach and watch "King Neptune's Electrical Water Pageant" from there. Makes a nice (and cheap) evening, even with dinner at Trail's End.

I have now been cheap and watched Wishes from the contemporary. (But not really since I have an AP) Afterward I could see and hear the pageant as it stopped at the contemp.
