Isn't it correct that with a men's jacket, you use your right hand to zip it up/down, while a woman's jacket you have to use your left hand to zip it up/down ?

Frequently. Way back when, men dressed themselves, but women were dressed by sevants that faced them, hence the reversal of buttons and zippers.
