Stupid Guest Tricks

My favorite place to nap is during Sounds Dangerous. Remove head phones, close eyes, zzzzzzzzzz..... Most of it is in the dark, which helps.

I agree, Hobie, a comfy shaded bench would be a wonderful place to nap, with the background noise of birds and the wind blowing through the trees and SGs quibbling with each other.
I was in a cafe in the El Paso airport once and after eating a snack I laid down on the nice comfy bench in the booth and wrapped my arms around my carry-on bag. Next thing I know a security guard was poking at me, saying "Ma'am, you can't sleep here." They insisted I sit up in the booth. I leaned my head back and took a short nap in an upright position. That didn't seem to bother them.

This post sounds familiar - have we already had a thread about the best place to take a nap at DL or WDW??

Speaking of old ladies defending themselves....I once read in the newspaper about this not-so-little old lady who got her purse snatched, and she chased the punk for several blocks before she caught him and got her purse back. She was ready to rip him in two! Her hair was put up with a pair of wooden chopsticks, and as she ran after the punk she pulled the chopsticks out of her hair, intending to use them as a weapon. Fortunately some passersby saw what was going on, helped her catch him and called the cops.

As for old ladies in movies....anyone remember the old lady in UHF who, after hearing Kevin McCarthy's character, the station manager of Channel 12, call his viewers a bunch of sheep needing to be fleeced, she goes down to Weird Al's station and walks up to McCarthy's character, asks if he's what's his name, he says yes, and she knees him in the groin? :D:

Is the drivers seat in an RTS a good place for a nap?

Yeah, we check on them if we have time. We'll certainly bounce them out of an attraction (including the train) as falling out even at 12 MPH is most unpleasant.

But if they're on a bench, even if they're taking up the whole bench? It's like I told a buttinski SG one day, "Lady, if that man wants to pay $75 a day to nap in the sunshine, I'm gonna take his money and let him sleep!"

You mean the buttinski actually reported a sleeping guest expecting you to do something about it?

Man, some people just have nothing better to do.

Geriatricland! Full of comfy chairs (the kind that will lift you up and out), benches and beds big enough for one to take naps! They could also have televisions showing matlock 24/7 and recordings of old men/women talking about "the good ole days!"

To me it all depends. Sitting up and sleeping, fine.. but laying across a bench is a little inconsiderate of others who might like to sit down (or nap).

Plus I don't want to come by later and sit in a puddle of drool (or any other bodily fluids for that matter)..

There were three attractions at Disneyland I would always go on for the sole purpose of relaxing and falling asleep (upright): Tiki Room; Country Bears; People Mover. I had the strangest dreams whenever I caught some zzz's there.
