I was happy to read this as my sons want to give away little gifts like sealed candy canes and thank you notes to characters on our trip in December. I wasn't sure how it would go over. They also intend to do this with bus drivers, KS driver in DAK, JC etc...Thanks for the info.

All CMs, not just entertaiment, see many guests throughout the day who are upset. While we see many who are happy, they rarely approach us to tell us so so we notice the bad ones more. Anything like that can really brighten a lousy day. I think it's a great idea. Holidays are particularly stressful because the park is extremely crowded and guest dissatisfaction seems to rise exponentially the more crowded the park is.

Meghyn loves to give the characters little gifts. She gifted Capt. Jack with some tiny flowers purloined from the flower bed next to POTC, which he promptly put in his hair and wore thru the whole pirate tutorial show. ( Dont yell at me, she picked them before I noticed,

I will have to dig up the pics) Also Mickey has recieved some giant leaves that she found on the ground at MK, and Minnie got a small silk flower. We also give out TY cards to ANY CM we feel deserves it.
