Did you explain to him that if you Live there he would have to go to school all day and not have fun in the parks? He may be convinced that if he can get away with not going to school when at WDW (or goes to WDW only durring school breaks) that there is no school there.
I still remember how convoluted the young mind can be. It may not be a desire to be spending every waking moment in WDW (tho that can be a very large concideration), but the other (apparent) "benefits" (real, imagined, and inferred) of living there. :D:

HAHA, I go to Ocean Beach in San Diego every year, there is a school there one short block away from the Beach, as well as Sea World just a mile or so away. I feel for those kids- too hard to concentrate with those distractions!

My daughter's high school is up the hill from Lahaina. If they ever sold the property the lots would sell for $10 mil each because of the view.

That's what my wife and I thought. We actually have a nice three-bed, three-bath townhouse for $1,000 a month, great for a family. We're sharing with another couple and their kid. They get the upstairs, we get the downstairs, and we let them use the kitchen from time to time. Which is good, since they seem to do most of the cooking.
Oh, and the place is literally sneezing distance from Disney property.

My church has room originally for 8 houses but with codes it would be 7 properties. Each house worth about $300.000 to $500,000 depending on amenities. Problem is that nonprofits can rarely find property to build on becaues of codes, sigh.

is that a rental? or mortgage?
that seemes VERY reasonable, is that a normal rent/payment for that area?
