Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Re: It's Grad Nite Time Again...
My roommie who worked BTMRR told me a story about OC at Grad Nites that made us all laugh. They have a camera on that ride, and she saw that several teenage boys had taken off their shirts. Now, several full uniformed officers happened to be on the dispatch patrolling when the trains came in. As soon as it came in she relocked the lapbars so they could get out and announced over the PA that if they did not keep their shirts on they would be punished. Apparently, the boys thought that OC was there to arrest them! We all got quite a kick out of that.

I hear that on Grad Nites nowadays "Condom Cave" monitoring is actually part of the official rotation for Thunder.ShootinHippos wrote:And in honor of it, I want to know about the craziest thing you've ever caught a guest doing.
My story is a little mild (but hopefully I'll come out of grad nite season with much better ones... :twisted :)
I was walking along Big Thunder Trail doing a perimeter check when i see two kids making out on a bench. Now, not just kissing, we're talking MACKIN' IT.
She was moaning loudly and had her legs wrapped around his waist and he was grabbing her butt and sucking on her neck. I walked up to them and stood there, smiling at them until they came up for air long enough to notice me.
"Hey, guys, this is a family place, not a place for making families. Let's keep it G-rated, ok?"
They stared blankly at me for a few moments and dove back in. Were I not due for rotation I would have loved to stick around and poke them. It seemed nothing would ruin the mood for these guys.
"Well how could I refuse hospitality like that?"

Legend: Alligators dwell in the sewers beneath Disneyland.
Truth: There are no sewers below Disneyland, and therefore no alligators in them. The secret tunnels are infested with mutant rats, however.

Well, if nothing else this sounds like there is a bit of good news in that designation. Maybe "safe practices" are being performed. Not too many years ago, teens would have been much less concerned with bringing something along on the off chance. ;)SophiaHapgood wrote:I hear that on Grad Nites nowadays "Condom Cave" monitoring is actually part of the official rotation for Thunder.
Gotta make good news where we can. :D:
