Stupid Guest Tricks

Fun time today. About noon I go to Animal Kingdom to get some more Photopass shots. As I'm standing in front of the Tree of Life my phone rings and Sarah Magdalene is on the other end. By coincidence she happened to be getting off of work at AK so we met up and wandered around the park some while waiting to hear from BW. We single rider Expedition Everest and then decide as passing by to go down to the Character Landing to meet Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, and Tigger. By this time we had heard from BW and agreed on a time to meet up.

Sarah and I ride together to the Grand Floridian, where we were getting the boat from. We get a bite to eat and meet BW and a friend of his at the marina. We cruise around Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake for a while and had a good time.

After that we take the monorail over to the MK, exit the station and come right back up the resort side so we can ride in the cab as Sarah has never done that before. It took a while for a train to come with guests who were getting off at the MK but once one did we rode up there for 1 1/2 laps just having a good time talking to the pilot and all.

We exit at the TTC and went over the the Epcot line. We ride the front cab to Epcot and go into the park as on the way in we saw the place was very uncrowded.. Rode SSE (whole 5 minute wait), got some pictures of all of us in behind SSE, and went to ride Test Track. We then went over to the photo center to look at the pictures we took and I went ahead and got the CD (2 actually, 360+ photos). The CD comes with 3 5x7s so we picked one of the group shots and got all three as that shot. One for me, one for Sarah, and one for BW (BW's friend lives in the same house so that's why she didn't get one). Sorry, but for the privacy of all of us the picture won't be posted publicly.

After that we head out, front cab back to the TTC and Sarah and I say our goodbyes to BW and friend (they parked there) then we get on the resort monorail to head over to the GF, where I parked. I take Sarah back to her car at AK and head home.

A very fun day was had by all. We are hoping to maybe make a boat trip a monthly thing and make plans farther in advance so more people will hopefully be able to come along.

I had a great time with you guys as well. I would love to make it a monthly thing, and be able to plan it around when people are going to be in town from SGT.

Sarah, it was a lot of fun meeting you. That was great when you got out on the front of the boat, got a little freaked out and jumped/fell back!

I can ditch my family (hehehehe) since there's only room for 5(?) passengers.

I'm up for that! Read the notice for this trip about the time y'all were getting on the boat--ticked me off that I hadn't logged on earlier.

I'd love to also. I was working and it was too late to get time off. My boss is pretty flexible with my schedule usually though.

I don't blame yas, Shorty! I don't even want to put our WAY cool GF photoshoot pics up on my trip blog even though they came out amazing (well DH looks amazing I look passable LOL but for me that's good! and yes ppl the blog is going to get written I promise-it's been crazy since we got back) and I'm not even a CM lol

Sounds like you had a great time- maybe someday we can join ya'll for a trip around the bay! er, lake. Er, Bay Lake LOL Riding in the front monorail cab to Epcot is just the coolest thing- what a view!!! Did it one time and will never forget it.

Tuesday afternoon? I was tossing back Turtle Crawls at the OKW pool. :D: So it was not a totally wasted day.

BW-Were you workin' on Wednesday? We had a most excellent Safari guide that day and DH and I thought it was probably you. I am the shy type, so I was too chicken to ask.

We were in row #2, carrying a stuffed green crocodile on a leash (because I am sure you remember each and every person that comes through KSR :) ) and our guides name started with G. I can easily say it was the best safari we have done. That was the first time we saw the white rhinos up close and personal, too. :)

We had a great trip. I had one anxiety ridden episode with someone with bare feet touching me at Playhouse Disney (eww), and the usual SGT suspects ( our favorite this time around was the 2 kids shaking the tree outside Tusker House that had a nest with momma and 2 baby birds in it-we were hoping she would attack them, but instead one kid cut her hand on the tree pretty bad. Karma!!!). Otherwise, it was fantastic down there last week. :D:

DH bought me one and said "I dont know what is in here, but it has a buttload of rum."

Three kinds of rum:coconut, spiced and white, with grenadine and pineapple, orange and key lime juice.

I was addicted. I had 3 that day and 1 every night. Yesterday, I finished my last one immediately before getting on the Magical Express bus. ;)

My next DVC contract will be at OKW just because of this drink.
