This reminds me of an interview I saw on one of my Disney DVDs. One of the artists from the Reluctant Dragon. He related that they had the entire short film complete when the censors decided that they couldn't show a belly button on the dragon. He could go without pants, but no navel. So they had to redo the entire show.
