Re: Hands off the Princesses
Sadly that is not as uncommon as people think. We have had a number of "face stalkers" who have had to be banned from the park. There was one girl I worked with who had to be taken out of her role for awhile due to a stalker. Even though the man was banned, he was frequently seen in the parks anyway.

Yeah, jerks like that don't know what "Leave the talent alone" means; to them it just adds to the thrill. They take advantage of the fact that there are too many people for Disney to check everyone. Unless and until you start having to scan everyone's thumb/fingerprint before they enter the park, the problem will continue. And I'm sure that we all know that stalking is usually a step that escalates to eventual murder. These are sick individuals. And I bet if you banned them from the park in a way like I just said, they'd probably raise a ruckus about how Disney is spreading lies about them, etc..
I haven't heard about Linda Skywalker or the Towel Baby Lady in quite awhile. How're they doing? :D:

It's an oldie, but Linda Skywalker is some woman who dresses up in Star Wars clothes and thinks she's married to Luke Skywalker; the Towel Baby Lady is this equally nutsy woman who carries a towel pretending it's a baby, but when someone tries to play along, she tells them angrily it's a towel, then coos and comforts the towel as if it was a baby. Do a search on this site; it's hilarious!

Actually, Linda is not going after Luke anymore. And if my guess is correct, I think she's going after Anakin (last summer, her hair wasn't blond...it was brown).felinefan wrote:It's an oldie, but Linda Skywalker is some woman who dresses up in Star Wars clothes and thinks she's married to Luke Skywalker; the Towel Baby Lady is this equally nutsy woman who carries a towel pretending it's a baby, but when someone tries to play along, she tells them angrily it's a towel, then coos and comforts the towel as if it was a baby. Oh dear God in heaven, those two need some serious help. I've had the unfortunate task of seeing Linda in action at SWW, but thank the good Lord I've never run into Towel Baby Lady. *rolls her eyes.felinefan wrote:It's an oldie, but Linda Skywalker is some woman who dresses up in Star Wars clothes and thinks she's married to Luke Skywalker; the Towel Baby Lady is this equally nutsy woman who carries a towel pretending it's a baby, but when someone tries to play along, she tells them angrily it's a towel, then coos and comforts the towel as if it was a baby. Re: Hands off the Princesses
If I remember the story right, Towel Baby is a couple who have some mental problems. They had a baby who died in infancy and the towel sort of "replaced" that baby. If people don't treat it like a real baby they get mad. The impression I got was that they were weird but harmless.
Earplug Boy is a man who walks around with brightly colored earplugs (sometimes skips around!) I saw him a lot when I worked attractions. He had an alternate entrance GAC, but I never knew what his disability was. If I am keeping my stories straight, at one time he worked custodial. He became obsessed with the princesses and one particular parade character, and got people to give him their names. He tracked down their phone number and addresses. He was fired and and banned, but would still show up. (I believe Ear Plug Boy and the princess stalker were one in the same).
I have had my own creepy experience. I was helping out Lilo. It was the first set of the day and we didn't have a Stitch. After the Adventure Begins crew went by a forty-something year old man came over to me smelling of alcohol, put his arm around me and started propositioning me. My attendant got me out of there real quick, for which I was eternally grateful. The scariest part is that Lilo is supposed to be 6!
