I think it all started with Hobie16 way out there in the Pacific!

The same type thing happened to my brother and SIL when they first moved to this area and they both got sick when they went home for Christmas. Something with air quality or something I guess.
Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

Uh, what kind of permits do you have to have to have a pet wildebeest in the LA area? :D:
Hope you all had a great one. I spent the entire day at work having a blast. McKey and I took an EHH shift off the hub, and discovered that we are a magic-making dynamo.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

You can't blame us for originating anything but we are the place where the tourists get together to exchange their various bugs and take them home.Ms. Matterhorn wrote:I think it all started with Hobie16 way out there in the Pacific!
I hardly ever get sick because I don't go into town much, stay from the hotel area, and with all the biking I do, my body temp increases and kills off any bugs I might run into.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Not sure but it is a lot of hassle to have an endangered animal or lifestock in this area. Hugs to Wallaby.Big Wallaby wrote:Uh, what kind of permits do you have to have to have a pet wildebeest in the LA area? :D:

Yep, that is where I caught it, on the left coast, BOTH times, at Christmas and last month. I am still coughing and have gunk in my lungs. I am gonna give in and go to the doc to see if she can give me an antibiotic. It has been 3 weeks with it now. I have been living on Mucinex and it is not working anymore, so it must be bacterial. Same ole, Same ole for me. I always get it! And it always turns to bacterial bronchitis. Always. That is my weak spot for illnesses. Respiratory crap always gets me! :(Whazzup wrote:Yes, there are a lot of people sick around here - I think it worked its way over from the left coast.
Take care of it. You do not want to get sicker.
Ralph went out to get another bottle of Mucinex last night and all the stores were out of it. He finally got one at a store that just got a delivery. By the time the bottles hite shelves, they were gone. As he was walking to the register to pay, several people asked him if they could get that bottle from him. He told em no, my wife is sick too! It is impossible to find Mucinex at any of the stores around here. The flu and bad colds and other respiratory aliments are going around everywhere and it seems everyone is sick. If I go out, I am gonna wear a mask. I got several the last time I went to Kaiser. And if I go tomorrow, I will get more. I will keep some for our DL trip at the end of March!
Get better everyone! This is a nasty bug! And they say that the flu vaccination this year did NOT cover very many of the bugs, so that is why there is so much respiratory crap going around.
Good Health to All!!!!
