CMGUY89 wrote:Creepy!!! I forgot to mention this one. I was standing the storage-in console just past the barn theater exit getting ready to switch the track to send boats into storage. The last boat with guests goes by and I change the track and start sending the boats in. Well the last boat goes into storage and I switch the track back and I wait for the rest of the crew to finish tying down the boats and plugging them into the chargers but I kept getting this feeling I was being watched. Once I finish at the console and disable it I look up into the darkened theater and I swear I saw a shadow run out of the corner of my eye. I get freaked out and run outside back to the lighted storage area with everyone else and ask them if they saw anything weird. I call tower to see if they had any intrusions and they didn't. I never really understood it but I still get the chills when the audio is silent and I am by myself.
I used to work in an old movie theatre. At the end of the day, after the audience had left and the projectionist (that's how long ago this was) left I then did a walk through and check every door and room to make sure everyone was out and everything was secure before locking the place up. So I was the LAST person in the building. When I first started there I frequently got that feeling of being watched. It wasn't a feeling of danger, more of curiosity or impatience. But I simply spoke to the empty building and said that I am friendly, and am not opposed to other entities. But I can be easily startled and so "Please try not to make any sudden changes while I am around". Almost immediately the feeling became friendly/amused. And I rarely had another problem. I actually got to like the empty building and sometimes after lock up I would wander and explore the odd corners. I found some old beautiful plaster walls surrounding what was the stairs to the second balcony (which was removed and the well walled up several decades earlier). I figured how to start up the pipe organ and played with it (Chopsticks using hands and feet gets interresting and sounds wierd). The more I hung around with a friendly mental state of mind the more welcome I felt. Only rarely did I ever see any "fleeting shadow" or anything but with me it was more of picking up an emotion.
So Maybe your "friend" is simply unsure of your presence. Talk to them and make a deal. You don't startle me and I'll try not to disturb you. Make friends. Can't hurt. BTW. they tend to have fairly good hearing so you don't have to shout, just talk as if to someone standing next to you and so you don't have to disturb your co workers with your discussion. ;) :D:

You should also have a tape or digital audio recorder with you when you try to talk to it because sometimes the voices of ghosts sometimes can't be heard by the human ear but they can be picked by an audio recorder.
I have a couple of stories from a park near me.
At Six Flags Great Adventure we have a ride called Skull Mountain (a cheap attempt by Six Flags at making a indoor coaster). Anyway, when I was walking through the queue out of nowhere I felt something slam down on my arm. At first I thought it was some idiot behind me that did it but when I looked back, the only 2 people in line other than me were very far back. And they were too far back to hit me, run back to where they were and make it look like they didn't do anything. Also, I didn't bump into anything so it couldn't have been anything that I might have bumped into that could have caused that feeling.
Suppoedly there is a ghost of a woman at Batman: The Ride who can be seen at the top of the lift hill and at the brake run. The story is that an idiot employee who was working at the ride the previously occupied Batman's space (Lightning Loops) forgot to check the restraints. The train was dispatched and when the train went through the loop, a woman fell out and died. A couple weeks after the incident 2 employees who were looking around the area of the loop heard the sound of a woman screaming. This happened before the park was open. So the ghost of Batman: The Ride is supposed to be the woman who died on Lightning Loops.
Another story was about the ride next to Batman called Nitro. There is supposed to be the ghost of a man who is standing near the hammerhead turn. The weird part is that where the turn is, is outside the park and is right next to a lake (or river or something). My guess is that (although I have never seen the ghost) the man probably drowned in the river.
The last story is about the bumper cars in the Old Country section of the park called Autobahn. The story is that the park was closing and the people who worked at the ride shut the ride off and were about to leave to go home. Supposedly the red #13 car started driving around on its own even though the ride was off. That may sound more like a story someone made up just for fun but before that ride was there, there used to be the Haunted Castle (which was about 10 travelling fair type haunted houses connected together). On May 11, 1984 the castle caught on fire kiling 8 teenagers inside (more details about the fire located
here. Just scroll down to where it says "Fire at the Haunted Castle". Also, there is a 5 part video series about the fire on Youtube which is actually pretty interesting). Later in the park's history, part of the Movietown section of the park and Old Country section were built over part of the area where the castle once stood. People think that it may be the spirits of the people who died who had this bumper car go on its own. Also, the other rides in that have all had their own accidents and those rides have all been built on where the castle was. The Music Express had an electrical fire and Batman and Robin: The Chiller lost a wheel bearing causing it to stall. Chiller has also had it's share of breakdowns and long periods of downtime. Although those sound like (and probably are) problems with the ride itself you never know. Especially because the source of the major incidents was never known (at least that's what I heard). Back to Autobahn. After that incident, the red #13 car was chained to the side of the Batman: The Ride station building. They use that area to store alot of old ride vehicles and parts. The weird thing of that was that everything else they put in that area they just throw in there and don't bother to tie or chain it to anything expect for the 13 car. Recently though #13 was put back on the ride.

Last October, I was reading a magazine that comes from the company that owns our apartment complex, and it had a list of haunted places. I was surprised to see Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant on the list; apparently there's a lady ghost in the back room of CDR. Nobody knows who she is or why she's there, though. For all we know, it could be Cordelia Knott protesting the extreme downhill slide in quality in her restaurant, as well as her and Walter's park.
According to Themeparkinsider.com, a train engineer was killed in an accident on the Calico Railroad, but I never heard of his ghost haunting the train. I do recall hearing the engineers saying that "George is up there looking down on this", and if you see the accident report, George was his name. Poor guy. Of course, I only heard the engineers say this once, maybe twice. I never asked who they were talking about because I'd read the report before then.

Bus 4750 is reportedly haunted by the ghost of the woman who was killed in a traffic accident involving that bus.
A Sr managers son was drag racing down BVD early in the AM and broadsided the bus killing the woman who was wearing a red dress.
Late nights, if that bus is in service for DTD, drivers have reported seeing her.

The EPCOT Monorail is haunted. Late at night around Rectofier 5, inside the park section of the beam. The story goes that Sometime ago, some kids were playing with a ball and it went up inside the buss bar guard. A CM attempted to retreave the ball and was electricuted. The whole inceodent caused dammage to the bar and shorted out the train.
After that day From time to time as the trains reach the pilon at 191, It will recieve a full service stop without giving any indication.

Interesting. Is that what happened last Monday night about 11pm? I noticed that the trains were stacked up on the southbound Epcot line, one per block gap. I wondered if Something Had Gone Terribly Wrong!!!

I know the beam had a major problem back in January following a transformer fire backstage at Epcot. The monorail was down the following day for a few hours. So either it is haunted or has major electrical problems...

Yikes, I think I "met" the ghost of George! A friend and I rode PoC today and I told her about this thread...two of us said, "I don't believe in you, George" three times as we passed under the waterfall. Right at the next scene with the skeletons, our boat whacked into the one in front of us! And not a gentle whack like you get at the end when the boats are backed up...a good one that we could feel in our necks! We immediately said, "We DO believe in you, George!" and apparently he forgave us for our folly because the rest of the ride was uneventful. Whew! You should have seen our faces gaping at each other when those boats collided, as we have ridden it dozens of times each and have never had a collision there.
