Prayers for your family, Wombat, and for Karen and her family. Whazzup, please keep us updated. Wombat, let us know how things go. If it is that time for her, then I am glad that she has lived that long, full life, and I pray that her passing is without difficulty, and for comfort for you and the rest of your family.

Prayers and positive thoughts for all of them.
Wow, that's not good. We'll be thinking and praying for your bud and her son.

Latest update from my friend Karen on her son: He's still in critical condition and neurological signs are as good as can be expected for being comatose. They will keep him heavily sedated for at least a week to let his brain rest before trying to bring him out of the coma.
He wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was thrown around inside the vehicle (Toyota Camry) before being partially ejected. However, after seeing pictures of the car it's a wonder he survived at all, and if he been belted in, he might have suffered even more injuries (broken legs, pelvis, ribs, etc.), so who's to say which is worse. Karen's husband just had back surgery and is home recuperating, and Karen's son's wife had a baby 6 weeks ago and they also have a 4-year old daughter, so things are kind of crazy around their households.
Wombat, how is your grandmother? I haven't noticed you posting today (although I haven't read all the posts yet), so I hope that doesn't mean bad news from your end.
Please remember our lives can change in an instant, and be grateful and caring in your relationships. We don't want to read about any more tragedies in our SGT family. :(

Update from me: my grandmother passed about two hours ago. She was a dear lady, two weeks shy of her 98th birthday. She was mentally sharp to the end, but physically the last few years, and especially the last year, were pretty hard for her.
We'll miss her, but we are celebrating that she is now at peace and whole again, and we know we'll be reunited someday.
Thank you all for your prayers.
