I think I am just either going to drop her off then go park and walk back or just gonna park at the Studios and either walk or take the boat or bus over. Do the non-walking forms of transportation start running back to the resorts at 8;30 in the morning? The park opens at 9 that day so I know they will be going to but can you get on one coming from there? And how long does the bus take? I know the boat is around 20 minutes and walking around the same. Right????? OH I am soooooo confused now. Too much thinking. We really need a cell phone.
Last time I was there, the Epcot Resort Area doesn't have bus service to either the Disney-Hollywood Studios or Epcot because of the boats. When I did the walk last time from the boat dock at Boardwalk to the Studios, it did only take like 15-20 minutes and isn't that bad (well, after a long day at the Studios it can be, but early morning should be fine).

When my family would take the boat to the Studios from Boardwalk, we would normally head out there 30 minutes before opening to try to get there by opening, so I'm assuming the boats start running at least 30 minutes before the parks open.

Sure can. It's $10 for each 24 hours or fraction thereof. Mostly. Give or take a few hours.
park at the Boardwalk?
Same 3-hour time limit at the Boardwalk.
I did see on the satellite image that there are 2 large lots and a small one right near the entry arch and another one across the street Epcot Road(?)that didnt have a guard booth. Is that a CM lot?
The lot across Epcot Resort Circle is both cast and guest overflow. Shouldn't be a problem parking there for the day.
vixen101485 wrote:The best I can come up with is park at the Studios and toss her in the stroller (wonder if the resort would store it for me for the 3 hours? ZAZU, would they? ) and walk over to YC.
Bell Services at any deluxe resort would be glad to stow your stroller for a few hours. Tip nice, please.
Cheshire Figment wrote:And, as an alternative, there is the Y&B Convention Center parking.
Not a good alternative as it's behind the same guard shack as the Y&B guest parking.

I'd go for the lot across the street from Boardwalk.

OTOH, I've never seen anybody towed from a resort lot who had parked correctly. We frequently park beyond the 3-hour limit when dining, shopping, and schmoozing, and have never received so much as a "please don't" note on our windshield.

I always figured that if anyone did question my parking, I'd show them the receipts for money spent and invite them to check if my park pass had been used that day.

re the parking in the Epcot resorts area.

One other possible location would be the parking lot for Fantasia Gardens. The walk from that lot would be about the same as from the far Boardwalk overflow lot. There is no guard shack and thus no limit. I would tend to park at the far end of the lot, leaving the spaces closest to the Gardens for the paying customers. But the walk from there down the sidewalk between the Swan and Dolphin to the boat dock gives you access to the Studios and Epcot, as well as boat service to all the other Epcot resorts. And you can use the busses from the Swolphin (the Swan/Dolphin) resorts to get anywhere else. To get to another resort, tho, you may have to go to the front of one of the parks and transfer busses.

Thanks for all your help you guys. I never thot about the Fantasia lot. That is a great idea. How long would it take to walk from there to YC marina? HMMM we could make a new game of it....Who can come up with the biggest typo on purpose and post it to see if anyone notices. Now, on "evil board x" we would be crucified by the masses that cant see it for a joke  if we tried that game.

Free parking for "no site" guests? I thought they had to pay $100 a day for parking. Now I'm really confused! :D:
