I'm celebrating with the years first ride on the Harley. Of course, I'm leaving work at midnight to go home (No I'm not in purple pants tonight).
Keep it safe.

LOL..You still have a few hours but as much as I like ya, I aint staying up that long.
We went out and banged a pie pan with a spoon.
Wonder of New Years wonders, my older DD actually called from L.A. 1st time I heard from her in about 4 months. I think she had already been celebrating.

Dick Clark looked terrible... But I am glad he was able to do some of his show coverage of the ball drop. Took a nap and the hubby woke me before Midnight so I could see a little of the show. I've a feeling "The Eternal Teenager" won't be around too much longer into the 2000s...
Happy 2008 All!

Now why didn't I think of that? I did go out and keep her company and draped my arm across her back and gave her reassuring pats while feeding her some horsey treats (cookies made with molasses and oats). She calmed down right away and the celebration ended at 12:01am, right after I yelled "CUT IT OUT OR I'M GONNA CALL THE COPS!" in a very loud and nasty voice.
And now good morning to all the SGT Crew. Sounds like a pretty mellow bunch - nobody mentioned any wild parties.
Hobie - Does the island still explode during Chinese New Year celebration? That was the most incredible display of pyrotechnics I've ever seen. I had a cold one year and thought I was gonna die from asphyxiation. Couldn't even step outside because the smoke from fireworks was so thick I couldn't breathe.
