Wall-E looks like Johnny Five with a makeover. But it's so cute that he cares about a cockroach enough to not run over it. Even though cockroaches are some of the most disgusting things to have around....

Jonny five had the same scene with the grasshopper! (except the grasshopper went 10-7!!)

One of the joys of living in the tropics is cockroaches. Lots of cockroaches. Lots of big cockroaches. And then there's the centipedes...

I HATE centipedes! One crawled up my son's britches and stung him on the leg. Occasionally I'd see a huge one crawling up the wall of our house in Hawaii. They always reminded me of that old horror flick "The Tingler." Anybody remember that one? I'm getting shivers just thinking about it.

Do you have geckos? I heard they not only eat cockroaches, but you can hear them walking around at night on the walls due to their grippy pads on the toes.....I love little lizards!Awwwwwww, so cute! :)

The geckos are totally cool. They're usually only out at night. I've never heard them walking but the males make a smooch smooch sound to attract babes. They lay eggs everywhere. We see a new batch of babies every month.

During the day the anoles come out. They're mostly green but there's an occasional black one. The kids will catch them and get them to bite. Then they'll hang them from their ear lobes like ear rings. They hang on for a long time. Here's one ready to pounce on a cockroach.
