At this point, I would probably make an announcement if they did it on the bus. Then, let them deal with the other SG's on board (and hopefully some smart guests would become SG's for the occasion)....
Now that would be funny... play it off as a trivia game for the passengers -- "Does
anyone know who this guy is???" :D:

That saying is right up there with "Don't you know who I am?" I hate that! Grrrrr......
I actually have spoken with some Disney higher ups on the phone (some are actually quite accessible!) and they probably would not remember me, but I COULD say, I have friends here in high, high places....LOL! ;)

I'm reminded of the scene in Jurassic Park, where the guy from Seinfeld is at a meeting with some guy who wants to keep it quiet, and he starts shouting that so-and-so is here! So-and-so is here!... with no reaction whatsoever.
LOL! "Dotson, look it's dotson over here!!!"
I would so do that if I could get away with that! Unfortunately Coordinators are usually just steps away, and guests always seem to be able to find them, unlike us.

It's all in HOW you do it. If you look over the sholder of an SG (pref female)right in front of you and look momentarily distracted or suprized. Then refocus on the SG and say, sorry I just noticed Johnny Depp walking up the road (sidewalk/whatever) over there. Now, how may I help you? :D:
The SG will almost automatically turn around with a "Where" question. And if you gesture at the nearest crowd and say I think he went that way. Not only will the SG go plowing off into the crowd, they will likely either babble about Johnny or actually shout out the name, and the entire crowd will rush away from you in the wake of the supposed sighting. :D:
And since you are not the one shouting, managers and leads will only glance at you for an explaination. A confused look and a shrug gets you out of the line of fire. :D:

Well I work in the same building as Soarin' so co-ordinators are always around dealing with SGs. I would get nabbed in a second. Then I would probably get dragged over to the Ops office behind HISTA. And never be seen again...

I know that desk where you work well, I have been on a couple Behind the Seeds tours (fun tour, seven bucks for a CM and anyone with them, within reason, I'm sure). It's amazing the number of complaints you guys get about EVERYTHING there. That desk really should be somewhere else. Other than right next to Soarin'.

Amen to that!!! It's probably in order to respond to 101's at Soarin' quickly. When they have a Carriage Fault that causes one side to go down they drop everything and run. But say I have a three-year-old who fell, hit is head, and now has a giant bruise with an Alpha-Unit enroute I can't get anyone!

Just wait till your friends take a plane ride, find out the crusing altitude, and there you go!!!
