Stupid Guest Tricks

I was looking at getting the job, and I think I googled something like "Disney Cast Member Forum" or something like that. Instantly hooked.

SGT got linked from Board X one time (before the big cross-board debate a while back) and I got addicted to this place.

Same thing for me, I was just surfing the net and discovered this place <which I love BTW>. I lurked for a while, not sure if the "guests" could post, probably a year or so like DisneyMom said. Then I decided to join in the fun. I must say it's nice to know it's not just me & mom seeing all the SGT behavior in the parks! Plus it's nice to thank all you awesome castmembers<even though I always say thanks in person in the parks too>. Thanks for putting up with it all, it's ALWAYS appreciated! :D:

It's been a while since I joined, so I had to scour the long-term memory to try to remember how I found SGT... but I think it was a web search that brought me here, too. At the time I was looking for Disney info in general, but especially behind the scenes type of stuff. Probably searched for "Disney cast member" and found it -- and honestly, who can resist a title like "Stupid Guest Tricks"??? :D:

I think I saw it in a google search result for something, peaked my interest and decided that this was my Internet home for all things Disney. I hardly read the other boards, too many clique's and God forbid you disagree with anyone of the "cool kids" there.

Same here, I think I was looking on yahoo search and entered Disney and "stupid" or "bad guests", cause I was looking for threads about the dumb stuff people do at the Parks after reading a few threads on a couple other sites. This came up and I lurked for a loooooong time before posting. It was fun reading! This is my very favorite Disney site of all of them for entertainment. I go to others for specific info and to get in trouble in arguments on *controversial* Disney subjects! LOL ;) I go to the Official site for trip info and schedules and the like. I like Allears just for the news articles and the newsletter. No forums there. I like trip threads with lots of pictures when we cannot go for awhile. At least I get to see pictures of the Parks!

I had posted a thread on another board, about an SG incident. I ended up call him an Asshole, and I got so much flames because, as one person wrote, "It is the job of cm's to make the guest happy, no matter what"
A friend of mine jumed into the discussion and someone complained that we both had the same attitude so we got points!. I got a pm from one of the move "vocal" person say I should go to a more "disrespectfull of WDW board"
Did a search and here I am!!, It fits in totally with my attitude about SG's who ruin it for the rest of us!!

Love it!!! Except, of course, we're not disrespectful of WDW at all -- just the idiot guests who spoil it for others!

And that's what so many don't understand. How they come here and come to the conclusion that we all think all guests are stupid is beyond me. Means they read what we said, and added their own dialog, but without the courtesy to tell us about it. Then, when they send us hate mail out of left field, it's rather unexpected.

I can't imagine that when the Disney Internet monitors are here, they don't get a chuckle themselves...at least, if they've ever worked in the parks...

I'd love to work for Disney on the network side of things, at least until I can get a job on the trains.
