Whats "PWN" mean? :pirate2:DevilDuckie wrote:I have discovered that my best bet is to sit back and let my nine year old "pwn" rude teenagers. Just guessing from the context it is probably a text messaging term for "putting them in their place" or using peer pressure to slap down an errant person or group.GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:Whats "PWN" mean? :pirate2:

I think I must be one of the few people in the world to actually use full words and complete sentences (with punctuation) in my text messages... Or at least full sentence fragments. :) I can type out pretty quickly on my phone using the T9 way of typing, and it's just easier.Randy B wrote:Just guessing from the context it is probably a text messaging term for "putting them in their place" or using peer pressure to slap down an errant person or group.
Of course, since I am now offically an "old fart" and I am one of those annoying people who still belive that a phone is a device for talking to people at a distance just long enough to make arrangements to meet face to face so a conversation can be held, I don't have any clue to how to even read text messages in clear english, much less the highly obscured and abbreviated stuff that is common on phones. ;)

I act the same way in texting. I use complete sentences and words.Rob562 wrote:I think I must be one of the few people in the world to actually use full words and complete sentences (with punctuation) in my text messages...
