Wallaby - See if you can get someone to ride with you on your bus and do the recording, then post it on Youtube and send us the link. You could do it on all your routes. It would have to include video of you dodging Mears drivers, braking suddenly, veering onto the shoulder, etc. Maybe you and Zazu could confiscate a bus and go joy riding.
Wait, I guess you wouldn't want to post THAT on Youtube or Disney would be after your hide. Oh well, it was a thought.

You should see the box full of airchecks and radio shows that I recorded when I was working. Someday I may share with all of you, when I can figure out how to get the sound from a cassette tape into the computer... CASSETTE TAPE!!!! :hysteria: HAHAHAHAHA I AM old!!!!!!

You think that is tough. I'm going to be helping my father out with making his record collection listenable again. My folks don't have a turntable any more and so all their records are just gathering dust. So I am trying to get them onto CDs. The 33's aren't too tough, but finding a table with 78 rpm is tough. and there are several dozen of those.

(actually I recently got a piece of software that allows me to play the 78 on a 33 turntable and then process the result back to correct speed and tone.)

My folks don't have a turntable any more and so all their records are just gathering dust. So I am trying to get them onto CDs. The 33's aren't too tough, but finding a table with 78 rpm is tough. and there are several dozen of those.

I am in the middle of converting my over 200 albums. I got an ION turntable and the related software. Its a slow process but at least I can now enjoy all the older ones!! I am even converting sowe really old 78's that DW's mother had from her childhood.

If you ever want to find a home for those 78s...I'm just saying!! I have some 78's in fairly decent condition. A couple I had just snapped after too many years they got brittle. I have a massive 45 and LP collection, having worked in radio. I was so into radio since I was a kid and used to listen to radio at night under the covers with my little transistor trying to pick up all the stations I could *on the skip*. I used to get some pretty far away stations at night when they would power up. XERB from across the border in Tijuana with Wolfman Jack was one we always got. 50,000 watts shooting straight up the state of California! He came in pretty clear at night.
