I am just gonna have to talk to Ralphie to see if we can rescedule our WDW trip to fit into this timeframe. Can you imagine a big get together of a bunch of us down there? What fun! We don't have our trip set in stone yet anyway, so we can be flexible ...a little! If we cannot make the trip at that time we will still be coming down late Spring or Fall. Hope we can arrange to be there when The Bubble Ladies are! That would be great!!!!! :D:

Count me in! I'm good for financial support, so let me know when the bills come in.

I'll check with management at the Big Toaster to see if we can get them an MK-view room cheap. If not, I'll be glad to do the F&F registration for them, and I'll even put the guarantee on my AmEx.

If somebody else books them, be sure to let me know and I'll arrange some in-room surprises for them.

I'd also be honored to offer the ladies (and a few hangers on) one of my Misguided Tours of the MK at my usual rate (free).

Gonna need to know the dates, however. Lots of surprises need time to organize, and I've got a couple of trips planned.

I wish I could meet the Bubble Ladies. We're going to WDW this December and again next October for a big family thing, so no way could we squeeze in a Feb trip, darn it. :( But anyone who deals in bubbles is A-Ok in my book. My nickname used to include the word Bubbles, but I won't tell you what the rest of it was.
I'll PM BW and see if I can send him a small contribution. What a nice thing this is that he's doing.

I wonder if the Bubble Ladies are "peeking" at this thread. ;)

Unfortunately, they don't even have the ability to right now... Elena's computer is down, and Elyse is so busy she doesn't even have time to put her hands to her head to stop it spinning.

By the way, to all the DL folks, they won't be able to come see you this month for various reasons, but they're already looking forward to December.

To all of you who have offered to help, thank you so much. For everyone who wants to know at the end, I'll tally up how everyone helped (in general terms, no amounts and such), and I can't wait to see how it all ends up. I wonder how long until the folks on other boards see this and decide they need to send someone to Disney World too! Ha!

Okay, okay... so next order of business... what dates work well for people here? We need to take care of airfare fairly soon. I have a friend who works for Alaska Air, but at his rates we would be looking at a standby trip and that's more risk getting here than I care to take... plus, they could be left sitting in an airport all stinking day waiting because there was no room on the first flight of the day, but there was plenty on the last (and now they missed the connection in Seattle). I also think Southwest is a good airline to use because I've never had an unfriendly flight attendant on their planes... come to think of it, I haven't had a flight attendant on SWA that wasn't outright fun.

So everyone think of dates. I'm thinking a midweek to midweek timeframe would be best. I know we can take care of a one week trip, but what about maybe giving a week and a half or dare I say two? Zazu and pattimelt, let me know what you find on rooms. I would love to put them up at the Toaster with a MK view and the Monorail passing through the hotel. So let me know what dates work well as far as pricing, and everyone else help with dates that work well for you.

Again, thank you all for all your willingness to help with this. It's gonna be a heck of a good time. I say heck because I'm so close to Disney property that I don't think I can say, "hell."

My dates are fairly easy. If I can manage to come up with the money to bring myself down, anytime after March 1 would work for me. RSP season is over!

After March 1st is good for me as well, I might be able to talk Ralphie into changing our usual May trip to March and we could be there too. But whatever works for the Bubble Ladies is what counts. :D:

Well, let me give Elena a call (LATER this morning!) and see what they would think of March instead of February.

In fact, looking at March, I can get tickets for them on Frontier Airlines for a good price. Now, I've never flown Frontier, but I know they have a very loyal following of passengers. In fact, I knew some people when I was working the airport hotel in Portland who would go out of their way to fly Frontier.

Susie, what would you think of being their escort from Denver on? Have to admit I'd be a bit jealous :D: .

FRONTIER AIRLINES!!!!!! I LOVE them! They are the best. They are hubbed out of Denver. They have the best TV ads too! I have NEVER had a bad flight with Frontier. We fly them all the time. That is a great choice of airlines! Even when I would rather have the extra legroom in First Class United (due to Ralph's serious disability problems and my very bad back we often fly First) I would take Frontier any time. We would give up First Class to fly Frontier, that is how good the service is and how great the employees are. And we have flown them all over. I LOVE Frontier. Now should I tell you how I really feel! :D:
susi*flies Frontier*slicker!

If we can make the trip at that time, it would be mine and Ralphie's pleasure to escort them from Denver onward... What fun!!! So many logistics to figure out! I will talk with Ralph about moving our trip to March. I hope it is feasible or do-able. I cannot promise we can make it then, but we will check and do our best to move the trip. It all depends on many factors coming together at the same time; financial, timing, our *advisors* and other health issues. I have a great many appts coming up in the new year and I will try to schedule everything around that! OH! That would be so great to come then and have a big ole get together with everyone at WDW! Yippee!

Hey, Wallaby. Purpie and I can't help out financially, as we're hurting ourselves at the moment. However, tell Elena that if she needs me to, that she can call me, and I can come up and take a look at her computer, at least see if we can figure out what's wrong with it, and that if I'm able to, I can repair it for her at cost of parts/software.
