Nah, it's a dead, bleeding deer Christmas decoration. It really is what makes it completely hilarious. If it was just a dead, bleeding deer, it wouldn't be dead, now, because it was still bleeding. So therefore, it is actually a dying, bleeding reindeer Christmas decoration. I think it's awesome.

So sad that you killed bambi.

I was meaner as I would hide in the bushes and stick out a rubber fake rat that had nail polish on it so it looked bloody. One guy left his kid on my front door step.

So on Easter are you taking out Thumper?

I like the tombstones idea, but how do you keep them upright ?

It was Flower, tired of all the attention given to Bambi and Thumper, who did this. Thumper's body was tossed down the storm drain...

I need to look up when deer season starts so I can just leave it out until I fix it for Christmas :)

Time recently named "Bambi" as one of the top 25 horror films of all time.

BTW--this guest did an incredible job on this video of Hallowishes; I like that they used the soundtrack instead of capturing the ambient sound. It's worth a look if you haven't seen the show in person: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... &plindex=0

Susie, that's not Bambi. Bambi was not a reindeer. And since Bambi was made, it's been what... sixty-six years... and I don't know of any deer that lives that long naturally. So Bambi is already gone of natural causes. Don't worry, Ktulu didn't do it. My bets are on Pooh.

And as far as hunting season, go for it! Just make it a clean, quick shot and only one deer that's still around today is off limits: In Pacific City, Oregon, there's a deer at the Boy Scout camp named Fred. He's a people, so you're not allowed to get him when hunting. Other than him, get a good trophy!

I'm suddenly reminded of a pastor in church who told the story of his parents getting a cow, and he wanted to name it. They suggested "Hamburger".
