There are now 10 of us CM's going on this trip, and more are making up their minds... I think I'm gonna start feeling sorry for the WDW CM's when we all get there, cause you never know what's gonna come out of some of these people's mouths when we're together. It's a laugh riot when we're all in the Bank together, so I can just imagine what's gonna happen at WDW!!!!!!!!
at least from my point of view, and probably other CMs as well, we LIKE seeing groups of CMs having fun in the parks. I've found that other CMs are the ones that are most likely to "get it", and make our jobs more fun.
I was part of a group of about 30 folks that went on the Haunted Hayride at Ft Wilderness last week, and we had a blast, just joking around. At one point, our guide said "Ok, I'm just going to give the microphone to you guys, your jokes are better than mine anyways", and when our wagon was "hijacked", we completely threw the person hijacking us for a loop, by offering them candy. They weren't quite sure what to think of us.

I wouldn't worry about the ECV on the Safari. I've never waited longer than a few minutes for one, even on a busy day, when traveling with my Mom and her ECV. AK is very difficult walking. It's difficult to motor through too, for all the reasons mentioned (hilly, bumpy) but also because the paths are so narrow, but if you have any knee problems, you'll be miserable by the end of the day.

Oooo, but wouldn't be cool to ride the Safari roadway
just on an ECV??? I mean, as long as you didn't fall in with the crocs. And avoided the ostriches. And... Okay, maybe not the best idea.

What's gonna happen is you're going to have some serious fun. Keep us updated as you get closer.

And whatever you do, don't make the white rhino mad at you.

It has been ten long years since I was at WDW,here are my recommendations:
Magic Kingdom:
Hall of Presidents-simply amazing
Look around the castle at the gardens and landscaping-really beautiful
Epcot-perhaps my favorite park in Disney World:
Universe of Energy (aka Ellen's Energy Adventure)
The Land Pavillon-just how many places can you go and take a boat ride in a greenhouse? Also a good place to grab a quick bite to eat.
The American Adventure-if you see nothing else in Epcot, you must see this. It is one of the most moving presentations you will ever see.
Japan pavillion-Spend the $$ you are saving on the hotel room and eat the great tappan restuarant there.
Canada pavillion: I love Oh Canada!-even if the film is over 20 years old. This is one of the best Circle Vison films.
Disney MGM Studios-sadly the working animation studio is gone :(
Muppet Vision 3-d
Star Tours (I have a really cool photo of me in front of the AT-AT that's outside.)
The Brown Derby was the best resturant there. I was really disappointed with the Prime Time Cafe. (Great atmosphere-lousy food)
I can't say anything about Animal Kingdom-it was being built when I visited last.
Wow $24 a night for a hotel room for CM's?

Now I need a way to convince my friend to stay employed at DL for a little longer  so we and our friends can go to WDW on the cheap (well sort of-we all like pins and other Disney stuff :D: )
What hotel are you staying at?

Actually, the film was updated recently. It was quite dated but has now been replaced with a brand new film. I haven't seen the new film as my last visit was before the update but I hear it is quite good.
She mentioned earlier she thinks she is staying at Pop Century but isn't sure.

I also recommend the "Behind the Seeds" Walking tour at the Land. Very, very good. Just did it yesterday.

The Back Stage Safari Tour at AK is awesome. I loved it and will definitely do it again next trip!
