You're both wrong, Carsland will just be a dealership lot selling cars with "Disney" themes, meaning stickers on the car, like a Mickey Mouse one. It's Disney's way of combining their love of rides and selling stuff after the ride is over and you exit, but they are cutting out the middle man (aka the ride) and telling you that AFTER you buy the car, that's when the ride begins and ends when YOU decide it's over, or when you run out of gas. You decide!

Would that include INDOOR plumbing, and a set of whitewalls!

I have no plans of ever going back to DLR. You know why and what it would take to get me back.
It is good that they add transportation around the animation building and over to cars. This will be a long piece by piece renovation and they are not dealing with the bleeping winery which is not that great. Rip it out and put in something fun.
Thanks for the update.
I just want to go to WDW for my birthday but that will never happen. Oh well yippee and yeah DCA is getting rehabbed but not completely.

Not a whine about wine but about the use of the land for a restaurant and winery instead of more interesting things like a Peter Pan type of ride, a train through the napa valley and california, or a parking lot.
There is nothing to do there but look at grapes, drink wine and eat if you can afford it. That rules out kids so that leaves adult but when you rule out all the people who do not drink, do not care about wine making and who are at the park to have fun instead of being educated, YES , bit waste of space.

So does anyone have any idea when this is all going to start? My son is taking a big "Elementary School Graduation" trip with his aunt in June 2008 and I'm wondering if it's even worth it for them to plan a day at DCA if a lot of stuff is going to be under construction. He's been to WDW many times, so don't think he'd miss Soarin'. Any opinions?
