This year for Halloween, I think I'm going to be the scariest thing known to men: a urethral swab! :D:stefunierocks wrote:and keep me in mind if you ever need a costume!! :)

Seriously though, I love Halloween and your costumes rock! I'll need to get your help sometime. Usually I do okay on my own (I have way more makeup experience than most hetero guys due to time in theater and emo bands!) but the costumes I do could always use a helping hand!
I did win a costume/karaoke contest the year before last: I went as Chef from South Park and sang "Chocolate Salty Balls". The costume was easy, but I didn't think ahead of time about how much makeup it would take to turn me black!![]()
Do you have special Cast Member rates? I have an idea that I am beginning to pursue, and this would help immensely.stefunierocks wrote:and keep me in mind if you ever need a costume!! :)
We'll see. I'm (a) hard to fit (read: big and tall) (b) located in Texas, and (c) really, really cheap. In fact, (I'm sure I'll get a lot of ribbing for this), I made the vest I'm wearing in my picture at left for the last VM show -- bought the pattern and the fabric and did the cutting and sewing myself. I'm rather proud of it.stefunierocks wrote:and keep me in mind if you ever need a costume!! :)
Let's just say I won't admit to all of them publicly.Big Wallaby wrote:I wasn't worried until you made that last statement. I'm curious, do I want to know what your many talents are?
Generally if its someone I know and like, so long as its not CRAZY complicated, If you supply the (money for) materials, i'll make it with no charge for labor.Big Wallaby wrote:Do you have special Cast Member rates? I have an idea that I am beginning to pursue, and this would help immensely.
Woohoo!stefunierocks wrote:Generally if its someone I know and like, so long as its not CRAZY complicated, If you supply the (money for) materials, i'll make it with no charge for labor.
BRWombat - aside from being cheap, I dont see a problem. I just finished a Jack Sparrow costume for a guy who was 6'9" and 350 pounds. Being an 'odd shape', you get the ginea pig discount. Meaning since idont have a pattern for your size, i'll have to make one, so you pay for the materials and I get to keep the pattern and the knowledge. :)
Can I vote for landshark?BRWombat wrote:Woohoo!
Now I just need to figure out what I want to be...
