Basically, it's a simple light show to music and finally, an announcer (one with a soft voice, not that guy from the monorails with his over-bubbly voice) comes on the PA and wishes you a good night and a safe journey. It starts approximately 30 minutes after the published park closing time, or after the end of evening Extra Magic Hours. (And it might not be listed on the Times Guide, but Steve Soares has it on his Entertainment schedule site)

I have to say, while apparently the Cinderella suite (and the Year of Million Dreams in general) was thrown together by marketing with little consultation about how to pull it off, it's been executed extremely well. What do you all think will happen when YOMD finally ends in a year (or two, or three...)? I could see them turning the suite into a pay-per-stay room for big $$$, but I think it more likely that it continues to be a freebie giveaway to draw people in. I don't see it staying empty, though. Any thoughts?
I've heard it might be used for Make A Wish children. My understanding is that it won't be rented out.

I get this question all the time but in the form of "What time is the last bus to Resort X?"
My answer is " The last bus will leave when the last guest spends their last dollar on Main Street." (substitute Mouse Gear, Hollywood Blvd, etc for different locations)

THANKS ROB!! for the video of the Goodnight Kiss!! I am so corny- I'm crying from watching!!
The castle looks amazing and just hearing that music transports me there!! I am so excited about going to WDW in a week :D: , but the thought of standing in front of the castle watching that on our last night makes me very sad. :eeyore:
What other place in the world can make grown adults so sappy ?!? :p:

I had the thought that they should "randomly" choose one couple a month (week?) who are having the "Cinderella Wedding Package." What an amazing honeymoon opportunity that would be for a lucky couple. :cindy: Plus, even more of those young ladies who fancy themselves Princesses would go the Disney wedding route if they knew that was their only chance of getting that suite. :fairymom:
(P.S. Hey Zazu, any chance of getting a Pumpkin Coach on the smileys list?)

Now, the fun part would be when they arrive there on their wedding night and meet their facilitators who are at their beck and call all night.

Not that I've ever done it, but I'd imagine all you need on a wedding night is some Gatorade and privacy. I don't think you really need a "facilitator" for that! :D:
Edited to add: sounds like any given tuesday back when I was in college! (The gatorade and privacy, not the facilitator... :p: )

Right, but you get facilitators at the Cinderella Suite. My Traditions facilitators had done that for a few families.
