Everyone behave damn you!!!
Re: Everyone behave damn you!!!
Hi, everyone, and much THANKS for the kind welcome!!!
So.. I hear I need to start my postings with my Oriental man story, so here goes:
I had been out of training for approximately 2 weeks. Yep, I was a newbie ticket seller at Disneyland. I am waiting on this really nice Oriental man, and we had to communicate thru sign language, pretty much, cause he didn't speak English, and I don't speak anything he does. We get finished with figuring out what the hell he needs and I give him the total. I figured, if nothing else, he could figure out numbers, so I write that the total was $252. The next thing I know, this man is unfastening his belt and pulling his pants down....
to reach in his underwear and pull out a money belt that was INSIDE his undergarments to pay me!!!!!!!! Mind you, this gentleman was NOT wearing something nice like boxers, but those gawd-awful tighty whiteys.. As soon as this gentleman paid me and I gave him his tickets and change, I closed my shade, pulled out some anti bacterial wipes and wiped down not only my hands, the counter, etc, but I also wiped down the cash he gave me!!!!!!! :D: :D: :D:

Great story! You'll do quite well here.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Wallaby, that's only the FIRST one.. You'd be amazed at what I deal with on a daily basis..Big Wallaby wrote:Great story! You'll do quite well here.
Of course, there's always today.. I worked GC for the 1/2 marathon, and we had to be there at 4am. The runners and their families were given these HUGE maps of the course, so they would know where they could stand, etc. I got more BS from the families and friends -- "Do you what side of the track my (insert wife, brother, sister, husband, friend, etc) will be on?" Or "How soon will they get to this point?" HELLO, the Disneyland entrance was marked on the map with the route the runners would take, and also listed when people should be coming through-- it's only 2.5 miles from the start of the race to the entrance of DL.. Do you think they are running, or are they walking?? Figure out when the hell they are gonna come thru- if you're so close to them, you know how fast they can run a mile!! Sign up for text alerts of where your runner is during the race- they were doing that at the expo for FREE!!
And then--I actually worked a "crossover" where people could cross the course to go from one side to the other. "WHY do we have to wait?" was one of my favorite comments today. HELLO, do you NOT see 14,000 barrelling down the course towards you???
