That is one of the craziest things I have ever seen. Even if you were going to buy a park tickey on ebay why would you willingly give it back? If someone wasn't going to send me the tickets to actually have I would run far, far away from this seller.

Maybe it's an IQ test. Anybody willing to agree to his terms would be stupid enough he'd feel safe doing business with them. :homer:

It's a good thing he isn't asking for your car keys or your hotel keys.
Like they say,"If it's too good to be true,it probaly isn't".
This sounds too weird to be real.

Glad you did that. I was tempted to also. I wanted to play all innocent and ask the same thing but be all like "but I really like to keep my tickets as souveniers but I will make you a copy of it if you really need it back" If he agreed to a copy I would black out all the important numbers.

What gets me tho is his request for your Drivers License info. What is he gonna do if you dont show up to return the ticket? Come knocking on your door in Alaska? Anyone who is stupid enuf to give that info anyway deserves what they get.

LOL...kinda reminds me of those sting operations they do to get people who have warrants out on them. Tell them they won something and when they show up to pick it up, arrest their butts. LOL

One of my favorite cops episode is where they call people saying they are from Dewercs saying blah blah blah had won a new t.v., and they show up with box and everything. The perp has a huge smile on his face, and then they drop the box and slap on the cuffs.

Oh, Darph, Dewercs is Screwed backwards.

After seeing this, I'm considering auctioning off day-old lottery tickets. Half-price, and only 0.0000001% less chance of winning!

Sounds highly suspect to me...There is a link to report the item to eBay, which I did, although eBay rarely does anything about these types of auctions even when they are as suspect as this. :oweye: Asking for a license number, good grief, who would give a complete stranger THAT kind of info? That, right there, is enough right there to raise big, ole, ginormous red flags!

ok, so i heard back from whoever it is and this is what he/she said

"They are mutiday tickets. The will have another day left on them. Thanks."

so i wrote back and said "oh, you mean, they're actually good for more than the 2 days?"

now i'm waiting to hear back from the seller again...

My .02 as a "Vacation Planner", aka Ticket Seller:

These sound like the 8 day tickets we have been notified about that are being purchased and then sold every 2 days to new people for the $100.. the tickets only cost $249 or so.. but if you sell 2 days on each ticket for $100 per, you're looking at making $400 total on the 4 persons that will use each 8 day ticket-- and then these people use the 8th day to upgrade to a premium annual pass.. You figure a premium ap costs $359. You spend $249 on the 8 day ticket, sell it for $400. $400-249= $151, $151 + the original $249, the guy is making $50 AND getting a premium ap for free... would LOVE to pull his info up on the ap screen and see what we get, since the notes will say if he upgraded and from what type of ticket...

We have been told that if someone has an 8 day ticket that they want to upgrade, that they not only have to tell us what days they went to which park, but we get to pick a day and ask them which park they went to first, and what time they came in... just to help make sure it's their ticket!!
