when they were selling adult sized costumes at dl we were told we could buy them, but not wear them to the park...only kids could wear the costumes to the park (to avoid confusion over who the REAL princesses were...makes sense...sort of...but since we couldn't wear the costumes we didn't buy them...we'll show "them") ]

I remember a story that I heard from a CM where they asked if Disneyland had a walking Tinkerbell character and someone said "No." They all went out and saw "Tink" walking, taking pictures, and signing autographs with little children.

If they sold CM costumes in adult sizes, imagine the headaches and lawsuits that would cause. SGs would buy the costumes, pretend to be CMs, and try to operate rides and concessions until caught. I remember once when I worked at a department store as a security guard many many moons ago, one summer the store had alot of teenage cashiers. They did a sweep/sting operation, and nearly all the summer employees were arrested for ringing up their friends for free or for fifty cents on big purchases. I think after that they were really careful who they hired for summer.

CONGRATULATIONS
You have found the SG offices and if you had gone further you would have found their secret training grounds and SG recruiting center.

I am not a violent person but why does the idea of bungee cords, nylon rope, and the front of CranBiz's and Wallaby's busses come to mind.

Well, it wouldn't be that hard. just looking at the photo I would not say "hey that looks like a Small World doll" looks like a kid dressed up a little to me. SO they could have very easy made it around the park all day with no problems from security. Put that name tag in your pocket and no one think any different.

It would not be that hard to have a smart badge maker make a copy of a CM badge. Sometimes you can buy then in the black market but they are not supposed to be sold. CMs are supposed to have ID except ones in costume like Mary Poppins so she would not need that on her and Marry Poppins does not wear a badge either. Thus no identification needed just need a costume.

As for getting into the park that would be easy. Come in as a regular person with the costume under street clothes. CMs at the gate would do a security check and see parts of a costume and think that they were bought for a kid at the stores. Proving this will be nearly impossible as Google hates me big time.
