The great and all knowing Zazu has spoken. Bow as he exits and kowtowing is not necessary unless you are a pretty lady in a mini skirt.

Thanks Zazu as that is so humerous.

Well we will catch any fake FP at pan this week. We have researchers up there scanning every fastpass (new barcodes are useful!) and counting all re-ads, NSAs, GACs, etc. Not a real FP? sorry. confiscated and refused entry. No FP? denied entry. We got people at merge with us to back us up :D:

I heard a story of a CM that questioned a guest on the date and number of people on a GAC, when the guest stated "Yeah, so what if I changed the date. I have a broken finger and 5 kids!"

I also got a NSA for priority enterance for a party of 15. It was signed and spelled out as well by the issuing CM, so it wasn't altered. Who the hell writes out a NSA for 15?

Then, of course, it is required. :D:

Are there people really counterfeiting fastpasses? it really seems like quite a bit of work.
Steve

At DLR we allow fastpasses to be used anytime after the first return time, and from what I understand WDW does not allow late fastpasses. I wish we were more strict like WDW then our fast pass line would not be half an hour long.

I havn't seen a counterfeit fastpass (at least not that I know of) but we do get people trying to use day old fastpasses.

Well, I think your information is wrong because I have used late fastpasses at WDW, in fact my first trip there my husband and I were both CMs and at the time they didn't give CMs from Disneyland tickets you just showed your ID at the turnstyle and they let you in. As a result, we couldn't get fastpasses a lot of the time because the machines didn't read our IDs (they were apparently supposed to because it worked on some but not most) so we had to find a CM to get a fastpass and one time the CM gave us fastpasses out of their pocket which was for a much earlier time so we just used it right away. Most of the CMs printed us out tickets, but this guy I guess just had a bunch in his pocket so figured he'd just give us a couple of those.

I have never had an issue with out of time fast passes at WDW but I have never tried with one that was not the same date.

What the official policy is, I don't know as we don't issue fast passes for the bus. Then again, maybe we should. :D:

Funniest fake FastPass moment I ever had was when somebody tried to use a fake Tower of Terror FastPass to get on the WDW Railroad on a day when the only wait was for the next train to arrive.

"No problem, sir" said I, pocketing his FastPass. "Go sit on that bench in the shade and I'll call you over when your train gets here."

Then I went to lunch.
I'll bet you a cold one,the SG is still waiting.

The Official Policy is that FastPasses must be used during their printed "window". One exception is made for attractions that go 101 during the day. *If* that happens, FastPasses for that attraction may be used the rest of that day.

Unofficial policy permits CMs to use their judgement. For example, a family that runs up ten minutes late claiming they were stuck on some other attraction or dining will get the benefit of the doubt from me -- so long as they don't cop a attitude about it.
