I wouldn't call Universal employees "Cast Members" nor say anything about the "show". Universal wouldn't know show if it came up and bit them on the a$$.

In my limited experience and from what I've heard Universal employees don't give a damn about the guests. They don't care at all about the experience of the guest. I know this is not all Universal employees but it seems to apply to most of them.

Universal steals many of Disney's great ideas and messes them up. They've done this since the beginning with Walt losing the rights to Oswald the Lucky Rabbit due to a contract loophole to the man who founded Universal and stole a number of Walt's animators. They stole the idea to build in the Orlando area and the idea of Fast Pass. Universal's Express Pass works the same as Disney's Fast Pass in the end except they charge a lot of money for it while Disney's is free. With Disney it doesn't matter if you're rich or poor you can get a Fast Pass but at Universal only the rich can afford Express Passes.

My SIL described Universal as the ghetto theme park. The good thing about it though is it helps keep the trash out of Disney. While some trash naturally still comes to WDW I shudder to think what it would be like without Universal to attract them.

I really liked working at Disney/MGM Studios the other day. I was going to lunch, when this family approached me, angry because the people at the turnstiles would not let them in with their tickets, which they proceeded to show me were Universal tickets. I was biting my lip not to laugh. Then they wanted directions to Universal, which I gave them, but their eyes glazed over before my directions ever reached I-4. I wonder if they might still be wandering around WDW. I haven't seen them on the side of the road on World Drive; but then, with the number of people I see every day, I wouldn't remember their faces if I did.

I've had people recognize me from all over the country (one guy I sent on a flight around Mt. St. Helens with my flight instructor, one lady from a doctor's office I visited once, and the list goes on), and it's so strange to have come to a point where I remember almost no one by face anymore like I used to, unless they are someone I see on a daily basis. Never thought I would get to that day, as I have always been able to remember faces extremely well.

Aw, there I go rambling again. Stupid Attention Defic... Hey, look! A flower!

Sounds like a staffing issue at Dragons. Those happen and if folks can't figure out where to sit, it gets beyond outrageous.

At the same time, riding in uniform is a no-no unless you're checking on the ride, which I believe was happening. With the weather being so off and on, you want to make sure that it's all good. That's when an employee will check it.

There's also situations where the guest might ask an employee to ride with because they are scared. That could have happened as well.
