Status question for FL CM's

Ok, I bit the bullet and asked for FT.

The outside job market is full of too many $10-$12 an hour jobs and very few $20-$25 hour jobs at this point in time. The medical benefits at WDW make it worth staying there for a while.

Now, I spoke to the retention/cast services manager who had some good info and he assured me that if I do get a full time offer to my liking outside the company that I can go back to CR. He also offered to assist me with the rumored IT position. The two of us are going to casting Monday to investigate IT positions within WDW. He also told me that if I was to get an IT position the company considers that a promotion, not subject to the 6 month waiting game that transfers are subject to. So at this point all I lose is my seniority position on the CR list (again NBD as I am still near the bottom).

Put in my app on Thursday, casting called me this morning and told me that it was approved. (like I didn't know that there were positions available)


Note to Big Wallaby: I finish my Studios training today (what an easy hub) and start DTD on Thursday. My trainer is spending more time with her shadow then me as she found out very quickly that I know what I'm doing and know how to do the differences at Studios all ready. (asked questions of other drivers beforehand)
