I went back a couple of months ago and they said to come back after a year. Now, I have a couple of questions. I found this on Board X saying something about getting re - hired with a "No Rehire" status:
Well I went to casting, did the interview, found out I"m on "restricted rehire status". I had to write a blurb as to why I should be rehired by disney. I put that I took full responsibility for my unprofessionalism and being irresponsible when I worked there. I explained how I've grown up in the last 8 years (big difference being 20 and being 28) and blah blah blah. I also had 2 letters of reccommendation written by my current and past full time employer. My recruiter told me it would take about 3 weeks to find out what the "board" says.
I have my rehire interview on thursday i am so excited...I had a no-rehire status and im not sure if they will be able to lift it but they said it has to be a year and tomorrow is my year.... i have held a job for at least 6months not a good one buit Burger king and i have a manager writing a letter for me and i have someone filling out a casting scout card....also i have some good references so i hope that is enough to take care of it
1) Do I need to hold a job for 6 months?? I have been trying to look for jobs but no one whould hire me. I been using the past year to focus on my school work.

2) Do I need letter of recommendation from a job?

3) Do I REALLY need to write an essay to why I should rehire back??

These concepts scare me. I am worried that I won't be able to hire back.

Do you know what your rehire status is? I know my husband is on a restricted rehire status (I don't know if that's what it's called it's the phrase I'm using) He can only rehire back into certain departments. Basically, you might be able to rehire but maybe not in attractions. He wouldn't have to go through all of the above to get rehired, but he only wants to rehire in a department that they won't let him rehire in.

Basically, they're pretty desperate for people, you can probably get rehired.

I know I'm on a restricted rehire status, unable to hire back into Foods or Custodial, but the last time I tried to rehire, I didn't get anywhere because of the damn 6 months in another job rule.

All I know is that my mangers told me that I have "No Rehire" status on my record and I can not come back. In about a month, I am going to come back and appeal it.
