The first post was where I originally saw mention, the guy dressed as a miner still has me stumped though. Are they still prowling the parks?
Thanks

Svick, I kinda thought you were referring to The Prairie Family. :hysteria:
Last month I called my insurance agent in South Sac. as I had to add something. He asked me where I worked. I replied DL. There was a pause & he asked; You're a CM? Where? I was a JC Skipper. Do you remember The Prairie Family? One of the daughters was convined I'd marry her!!" He had to call security a few times. We both laughed so much. He then gave me a CM discount. Now I always call & tease him. ;) Wish I had seen this strange group back in the day. Maybe my insurance agent ran to Sac. to escape The Prairie hitchin. :D: :D:

Sacramento vs. Prairie hitchin'? That's a hard decision. :D:

So I'm getting the impression they are not around any more which is good for all of you. Guess they will live on in SG legand. Any more info on them and Mr. green vest, I'm getting more curious now. Never would have thought this sort of thing went on.

Let us not do it the SG way but instead soundly sort this mess out.

The original post has a link to http://www.stupidguesttricks.com/phpBB2 ... ht=prairie

This is the current way that the boards search:
http://stupidguesttricks.com/showthread ... t=virility

I did a google search of that statement and found nothing.

The current 344th thread is http://stupidguesttricks.com/showthread.php?t=344 and is not that subject.

CONCLUSION
Staff at Big Thunder wear a pink shirt like the old time red flannel shirts or long john underwear that miners would wear until they were fade nearly to pink. They were a vest and boots. I believe that the post was a joke about the costume oozing of virility. This comment was use because the "Prairie Family" had a boy who dressed just like a cast member at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. The original post was probably a snide remark in reference to the BTMR costume. I believe there are no men stalking CMs like the so called "Prairie Girls" but there are CMs who are stalked and harrassed at times as stated above. CMs do sometimes have guests who fall in love with CMs for various reasons.

Here is a clip I found while searching to verify CM costumes for BTMR.

This SG took a woman on the Big Bad Wolf at Busch Gardens. Where would you take someone if they had never ridden a roller coaster before? Yeah, the SG took her on a wild roller coaster that broke down. Did not have time to post this in proper places.

Got it Churchy, Showing my SG side I guess. I get it now. Until I came here I never gave it any thought that people would stalk CM's but I guess just because someone works for Disney doesnt shield them from the real world. It just amazes me that people really think someone who is at work is interested in "getting a date" with a complete stranger.

Stalking begins slowly I've noticed. Usually CMs aren't really aware until things get uncomfortable. :( Events than become crazy, bizarre. After this panic complete fear takes over. Security can't always be found ASAP, thus a cell is needed at all times by CMs. I've not had a huge problem. Geez, who would ever want to stock me? My main concern is these 2 AP male guests who are ALWAYS at Emporium & allowed to close & lock the back door then linger & walk around until 2 or after. Just bugs me! I do understand they are mentally challanged but any CMs know why they are allowed to hang around Emporium until way after closing? The tall dark haired AP is spookey. DL Security even converses with these APs after closing. I hate it when they come up & talk when I count out. Possibly they are fine, but when one follows a CM halfway off stage & says; "Boo!" there is no fuzzie warm feeling. I'd much rather have a Pine Float! ;) Alyssa, Kampy, CM007, any info on these two?

Thats just bizare, I would think if someone complained security would send them on their way. I just finished a class a couple of weeks ago from a professor I have had before, I like her teaching style alot. Last night of class we finish the final and she whispers to me theres a guy still there that finished and instead of leaving hes just sitting in his seat making her nervous. She asks me to hang around until everyone is gone. She knows me and I'm kinda a big guy, I know there have been problems on campus in the past and I am always willing to walk any of the female students or staff out to their cars since all my classes are at night. I wait around and just as the last person leaves this guy finaly gets up and goes. we dont know why he was hanging around or what he was up to, just a bit creapy.

In my opinion, no customers should be left in a business after closing, especially with a single employee, male or female. Once the business is closed customers out.
