It has been Disney's Policy tht NO CM can never hold any child for any reason. If by chance that you are holding them and "Accidently" drop them YOu can be sued. You know people, want to screw nd sue Disney as much as possible!! :D

It's really not that bad. In fact, it's a lot of fun. I love being a character attendant.

Well most the people I see doing it seem to really be enjoying their job. Every once in a while will work with one at parade. Still think its got to be way up there on the list of most emotionally taxing jobs in the parks though. Say that because it seems at least half the time a guest comes up and me and complains about their day its about a character attendant that was doing exactly what they are supposed to do....so god bless you for putting up with that.

I second that.....Kudos to the CA's. I have done it for a local TV station and my DD was the one in costume. Worst thing, This moron comes up and pounds the top of the costume with the side of his fist. I yelled at him and he thot it was funny until I told him "that is my 10 yr old daughter in there and since you think it is funny, I guess you willl think the same when I have secruity call the actual police to have you arrested for assult and battery on a minor" I really was going to press charges on him but he took off really fast. It is a rough job and we (the BF, DD4 and I ) really appreciate what you do.
