So wait, handstamping is done at Disneyland but not Disney World? Why? Do you have less idiots there or ??

Because we use biometric/fingerprint scans on all adult tickets, even one day one park.
There used to be tour groups (especially from an unnamed very large South American country) where the leaders had found out what all the hand stamps were and had them duplicated. They would have a bus load of people go to one park at opening, one person collect the tickets from everyone and get a hand stamp. They would then read the stamp and give a similar stamp to a second group on the bus and go to a different park maybe an hour and a half after opening, using the same tickets. This even would work with a third group.
The scans stopped that.

Hi! First of all, I'm new here, this is my first post. I used to work in Fantasyland attractions a few years ago. I'm not sure how it is now, but when I was there, there was the West side and the East side. I was mostly on the West (Pan, small world, Ariel's, the carousel, and (back then it was) Lion King.
I hated FP on Pan, but I think the funniest thing that happened to me regarding FPs was when I was at small world dispatch one night. I forget what happened, but we ended up having to evac the attraction. I was one of the lucky ones who got to put on the lovely hip-waders and get in the water to pull the boats full of people from the finale scene back to the island room to the emergency exit.
It was hard work, and I was trying real hard not to trip over all the flume junk and fall face first into that nasty water. In this one boat, this woman CONTINUOUSLY nagged me about how they had FP's for BTMR, and "We'd better not miss our time!!!" I was IN the water, pulling a boat full of about 20 people, sweating my butt off, and all she was worried about was her stupid FP. I don't even remember what I said or if I said anything, but it was incredibly aggravating.

Too many people tell me that if they watch a show or parade, or eat, whatever, that they will miss their fast pass time.

Glad to see another F-lander here! That is one of the best stories I've heard of people freakin about FP return times. Knowing how complicated the evac procedures for that attraction are, I could imagine how absolutely irratating that must have been. I would have told them to get out and swim!
Usualy what I do if someone is getting really nasty about not making their FP return time I'll take their FPs and cross out the time and extend the end time 2 hours and write my first name. That usually shuts em up.
Did you work Pan pre-fastpass as well? Right now we have major work being done to Pan's FP/wheelchair queue, so they knocked down the amount of FPs given out. It's a pleasure! Wait time does not go above 30-40 minutes even after the parade dump. Of course FPs were done before noon on Friday, since we closed at 7. I didn't start until the afternoon, so I didnt have much interaction with those at distribution.
