Well, I know that wasn't me. I liked your quirkiness. When we were on Shrek crew together, you were one of my favorite folks to work with.

And for those who haven't met her, Teddykeiko is a real sweetheart, and one of the nicest people I've ever known.

I don't need to hack into anyone's email to do that, you can configure your email client to send as any From: address you want, VERY few ISP's check for this.

CBeilby wrote:Second, I'm not sure if this is still the case, but as of the last time I worked at Disney, there was a freeze on hiring of new Security Officers. You should probably think of at least two other departments you'd like to work in as backups.
It's actually expanded. We're not hiring at the moment at all. There are positions available, but they seem to be prioritizing them for CMs who are interested in transferring.

When I transfer to Fullerton to "finish" (aka: Start) my Bachelors Degree, I plan on working at DL. This was my orriginal plan to do after graduating HS 5 years ago. Anyway. I want to work in attractions, Tomorrow land attractions specifically, namely Space, Buzz and maybe star tours. Deffinatly space. I know you have to work 2 attractions before space, and that most newbies start at HISTA. Which is fine since I am a pro at washing glasses, just ask CBeilby. So when I go for my interview, will they ask which area I want or should I request it? Also, do they hire year round?
I don't know if I can work the summer because I wont have housing yet. But my goal is to work F/T during the summer and P/T in fall.

TELL 'em where you want to work, in a nice way of course. I used to work in casting. They'll usually acommodate. Right before Thanksgiving/Christmas should be a good time to get hired.

Alas, we don't seem to be hiring at the moment, except maybe for Food & Beverage.

I know we had a short burst of hiring in September, which quickly trickled down to CT only, which seems, according to Casting, to have dwindled to nothing.

As to Tomorrowland, New Hires, from what I have been able to gather, mainly start at Nemo or Autopia, with some at Buzz and Star Tours, and a few at HISTA/Astro Orbitor (which doesn't need all those many CMs, in all honesty).

I would certainly mention where you would like to work, though, the worst they can say is 'No', after all.

What is the charge for that background check, or is it FREE!
