Birdmom, believe DLRDan on this one. He is telling the truth this time! He dances a great Mickey & knows the words to every parade & pyro song.BirdMom wrote:Please tell me you're not one of those people who walk through the Esplinade doing Mickey's choreography when they play the Fantasmic music near the gates :p:

Or you are repeating the F! introduction word for word with the narrator, and a woman in the row below you turns around, smiles, and says, "So I take it you've seen this show before?"
And yes, I also do some of the hand movements of "Mickey the Conductor" in the beginning of the show.

I can hear them every week night at 9:35p.m., both when I lived in Anaheim and now that I live in Orange. Both places though had trees and here, a tall fence that keeps me from seeing the fireworks. On the 4th of July I could see fireworks from Knott's and a few other cities from my second floor bedroom window in Anaheim, but I'll have to wait and see about here....

I hear Illuminations every night and can sometimes hear Wishes. I can see the sky glow but that's about it for a visual

I hear them from inside my house most every night. I live about 15 minutes East of WDW (I-4), specially Epcot's but I can also hear the Magic Kingdom's fireworks (you learn to recognize them, not only by the time, but by the pattern of the pyro.)
I used to live right next to Universal and I could see them if I stepped outside.

I live a hop, skip and jump from the Resort and some nights the fireworks wake me up. (damn this graveyard shift) But if I walk outside my house, I can watch them which is pretty cool.

That could be fun. But it's when you can see them from inside your home that you know you're too close! :)David R wrote:...I used to live right next to Universal and I could see them if I stepped outside.

I guess I could see them from the living room window if I didn't mind having some palms blocking the view. Trust me, they were literally right across the street from me.BRWombat wrote:That could be fun. But it's when you can see them from inside your home that you know you're too close! :)
I enjoyed them since they were always early evening except for the occasional private party. Eventually you get used to them and learn to block them out, even the pets didn't mind them.
